  1. http://www.fish307.com/yo-zurihybridultrasoftline600yardspools.aspx The smaller spools are on sale, too.
  2. Great write-up, I felt like I was there with you!
  3. Give them a try, I know you will like all GMAN Jigs, but the Big O is my favorite!
  4. Great post!
  5. How 'bout Sunday the 22nd?
  6. I have a dispute with 'company X'. Can I post about it here? While we can empathize with your frustration, the best course of action is deal directly with the company. Escalate it up the ladder, file a grievance with PayPal or Ebay (if they were involved with the transaction). File a mail fraud complaint with the post office. There are other options, but attacking the company in a public forum is not appropriate nor allowed. Such posts will be removed. Please read FAQs for an overview of what is expected from our membership: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=boardrules
  7. I highly recommend the Avid AVC70MM. Mine is matched with a CH50MG, but the Curado 50 would be an excellent choice, too!
  8. For most crank baits Medium Power/ Moderate Action. For heavier lures and deep divers, MH or H Power. Specifically, I like the Avid AVC70MM and Pinnacle Perfecta DHC5-701CAMCB for most treble hook applications. For deep divers, Lamiglas SR705R is THE BOMB!

3 1/2" LFT Live Magic Shad, weightless on the outside. Thin wire 4/0 Gamakatsu Offset Worm Hooks. Johnson Silver Minnow in the middle.
  10. Bull Shoals can be a very tough lake, big and beautiful and every inch of shoreline looks bassy, especially when the water is high. Unfortunately, like most lakes, 10% of the lake hold 90% of the fish. I would strongly suggest hiring a guide for a day or two, specifically Tim "Hot Dawg" Curtis. http://www.hotdawgguideservice.com/
  11. Maybe these will help: Guaranteed To Catch Bass I just cant catch bass Learning to fish on your own
  12. No, but I have fished an hour or so up river. We caught lots of little bass, but nothing special.
  13. Nope, not from what my guys are saying.
  14. I think Big O only fishes one rod.
  15. Price is a function of value. Some lures are worth they're weight in gold.
  16. I think you have made these comments or something just as absurd already. We're killin' ';em on the Rig and everyone else is, too! "Bad thing is even a Plug knocker is unlikely to get a stuck A-rig back " I have had 100% success retrieving The Rig with the Bass Pro lure retriever.
  17. Buy stuff on sale. I have a HUGE collection of Pointers for example that have an average cost of under $10.
  18. Well, the TVA is not running water in the morning. If that changes for Friday and/or Saturday, I'm fishing Pickwick below Wilson Dam. Early we will target stripes if they are busting shad. Later we will get after the bass. I doubt much has changed so I will be throwing The Rig, jerkbaits, Red Eyed Shad and the Norman Fat Boy.
  19. WOW! Where have you been? Are you and Grouchy coming to Guntersville?
  20. For deep divers and big lures I like the Lamiglas SR705R.
  21. Ain't it strange how the harder you work the luckier you get? Great pic, too!
  22. This a review (with some pics) of whats been going on so far this year: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/97447-pickwick-is-on-fire/
  23. I haven't fished the Pinnacle spinning reels yet, but have been VERY impressed with the Optimus XLT baitcasting reel. The Optimus spinning reel looks sweet to me! http://www.pinnaclefishing.com/shop/p-140-optimus-hand-tuned-spinning-reel.aspx#page=page-1
  24. St. Croix Avid series is one grade over the stated power compared to many other brands. Medium = medium heavy.
