  1. Try the Rage Tail and you guys will be surprised. Good is fine, but better is better!
  2. Keitech Swing Impact Fat, Shadalicious, Hollow Belly and GYCB SwimSenko

  4. Surfing the net for lure recommendations that are working RIGHT NOW: Spinnerbaits seem to be the talk. The Rig, of course. Soft plastics shallow, especially shakey heads. Square biils and lipless cranks.
  5. The majority of experienced fishermen are going to recommend a MHF rod. However, I much prefer MF which is much more "user friendly" when fishing weightless soft plastics and all medium weight lures.
  6. I will be fishing a variety of Bite It! baits at Guntersville. More importantly, I am providing samples to everyone willing to give them a try. I hope to see a ton of reviews on these baits in the coming weeks. We appreciate your sponsorship! -Kent
  7. Well, I can't really tell. The Xr50 Chrome & Blue has been my most effective lipless crank, but I don't "work it" at all. With this particular lure it's rip and retrieve only. For stop and go or yo-yo, nothing works like the Red Eyed Shad. Two completely different lures as far as I am concerned.
  8. There is a current thread running with three pages of response: http://www.bassresou...vice400-budget/ If you scroll back through this section, you will find many more threads full of suggestions and opinions. This is my suggestion: http://www.pinnaclef...spx#page=page-1 Shimano CI4 and the Pinnacle Perfecta DHC 721SPM
  9. Trolling your line is a great way to start any trip. My recommendation for your new reel is the Shimano Symetre. Shop around and it should come in under budget.
  10. For big lures and deep divers, Lamiglas SR705R is THE BOMB!
  11. Tom is on the road, but that works for me.
  12. I recently had two Curados supertuned. Good work and a great guy to do business with!
  13. Your best bet is finding old junk at garage sales.
  14. Try the Rage Lizard, you won't be buying any more Zoom. This bait might be the best offering in the entire Rage Tail line-up. My preferred rigging is a traditional C-rig.
  15. WOW! Don't read this at work or anywhere you are embarassed to cry. Maybe these are happy tears, but tears just the same. Wow...Not a punk anymore.
  16. This is what I believe is my schedule: Sat: Arriving with Long Mike, fishing that afternoon Sun: Traveler2586 Mon: Fishing Rhino Tues: Alpster Wed: WMD Thurs: Long Mike Fri: Headed home

  18. Stop focusing on the spawn. The fish are in 5'-10' of water off gravel banks and flats. The lures I mentioned earlier in this post are wearing them out! Add a Rage Shad to the mix, too.
  19. No, I don't think he arrives until Tuesday.
  20. The Rig is magic! I have been fishing it all year, but mostly for stripers. I have mine rigged as light as possible: LFT Live Magic Shad, weightless, on the outside; a Johnson Silver Spoon in the middle. The hooks are light wire 4/0 Offset Worm Hooks. I have never caught a fish, nor has anyone I fish with, on the outside hooks. Andy Posse told me flash is the key. There are many options. On another rig I have a willow blade supported with beads on the middle arm (above the swivel). The bait is a larger Shad, Shadalicious or Hollow Belly.
  21. Pencil me in!
