Fish attractants and scents
Well, I use JJ's sometimes for jig trailers, but I use it at home, outside. Those baits are kept in their original bags. The stuff is just too messy for me to carry around. MegaStrike is my "go-to" scent. It's very user friendly and I especially like the lubricating feature. I'm not convinced MegaStrike is actually an "attractant", but i do believe fish hold the bait longer. 8-)

Pickwick?
If we can get an "all clear" report on the shad kill, I'm up for Saturday. However, I don't want to just practice casting again! 8-)

Who knows about the production of flouro line?
No. Proprietary formulas and the extruding process vary.

Under Rated Hardbaits
I don't know about "underrated", but if I could chose just one lure to own it would be the Megabass PopMax. For the rest of the water column, LC Pointer, Norman Fat Boy, XCalibur Xr50, Bandit 200 or 300 and the DD22. 8-)

Trokar hooks are they worth the price??
I have some GMAN Mop Jigs custom built with Trokar hooks. I rank them a dead solid 10. My other favorite brands are Gamakatsu, Owner, XPoint, VMC and Moaner (Mustad). The treble hooks on the Megabass Vision 110, Katsuage, are in a class of their own. 8-)

Versatility - what makes one versatile?
The simple answer and greatest challenge is fishing offshore and deep. If you master fishing structure, the next steps are easy: depth, speed, action and profile. The objective, I think, is being able to fish the entire water column when the situation arises. 8-)

Has Fishing Gotten Easier?
Much easier for both size and numbers. Water quality has improved dramatically. C & R has become the norm among better fishermen. Modern electronics has opened the door for the average guy to fish offshore and deep. Many lures and baits are more effective than those available years ago. For me personally, the Senko turned me into a bass "catcher" not just a fisherman. Once the door was opened, learning to fish other lures and techniques became a passion. 8-)

Cavitron Buzzbait voted as one of the best lures of all time
Just a little follow-up... I have a black on black that has been "destroyed" several times over the years. With a little adjustment, the Cavitron becomes even more productive than new. 8-)

Cavitron Buzzbait voted as one of the best lures of all time
CONGRATULATIONS! I gave away all other buzzbaits. The Cavitron has been a very productive lure for me. I'm glad the national media has taken notice.

Best place for large bass?
Pickwick and Kentucky Lake are comparable in both size and numbers. Last year on the BassResource.com Roadtrip at Pickwick several members had 100 bass days and we had at least four PBs! That included several 5+ greenfish and three 6+ brown fish. On Sunday, during an 18" deludge, Big O and our soldiers caught 140, mostly smallmouth, which included two PBs. Uncle Leo averaged 66 bass per day for five days. Nationally, my vote would have to be Falcon for largemouth; Lake Erie or St. Clair for smallmouth. Pickwick and Kentucky Lake will never be in contention for a World Record largemouth, but the next World Record Smallmouth could be swimming in the Tennessee River! http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/smallmouth_record.html 8-)

Pline CX Premium ?
Yeah, it's too expensive. I bought one spool on a whim, but I can't use it on a regular basis. Even with backing, 200 yards is two respools and that is all you get. When you hang-up you lose just as much Tatsu as any other line. So, for those that don't care about the price, this is the finest line I have ever used. For the rest of us, it's just too darn expensive.
