Spinning tackle: #6 Hybrid in green for gin clear water, smoke purple for stained water. You don't need to switch back and forth, either will be just fine, but pick the color for the "predominate" water you fish. Baitcasting gear: Hybrid #12 8-)

Nine bass in two days? I looks fine to me. My go-to lipless crank is a blue/chrome, XCalibur Xr50. It doesn't have any eyes and it's not nearly as pretty as your Yo-Zuri Vibe (?). Mine is a fish magnet and I would not change a thing. Seems like the bass like yours, too! 8-)

I honestly don't know. I only have one and I like green, so that's how I ended up with this particular lure. ;D ;D ;D ;D

The Rico's biggest issue, for me, is weight. Maybe they are great lures, but mine are just a part of the 95% of my collection that I never fish.

Consider this: You probably won't lose a topwater lure. So, even at $28, you will have this lure for a very long time. I don't remember exactly when I bought mine, but it was at least 5 years ago. 8-)

Megabass PopMax This is a bass magnet. Mine is beat to death and it's going to stay that way! This was by far my best producing topwater lure in 2010. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewmbpopmax.html The only one I own is the Tonosama Frog pattern. 8-)

A simple answer: Spinning tackle: Yo-Zuri Hybrid or Hybrid Ultra Soft #6 Baitcasting gear: Hybrid #12 After experimenting with braided line, I am currently fishing Fireline Braid (not fused) on my jig rod. Braid has significantly improved my jig fishing. I'm going back and forth with a leader and leaning towards direct tie only. 8-)

Most of the best prices are mark downs on BPS branded product. The only "super deal" that really got my attention was the Bomber Square A for $1.97. 8-)

Lucky Craft 100SP MS American Shad is a good place to start. 8-)

Smaller jigs (3/8 oz or less) = Rage Tail Baby Craw 1/2 oz jig = Rage Craw, Flappin' Hog and Double Wide Beaver 3/4 and up = Rage Tail Lobster I like trailers to match or compliment the jig. My main color is the basic black jig/ blue trailer. I also like green pumpkin generically. To change it up a little, brown with orange and red matches the native crawdads around here. 8-)
