Duh... I didn't see FAQs and obviously didn't read them. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with being made in China. The problem many companies have run in to is quality control. 8-)

Take them out of the bags and spread them out to dry. You will know almost immediately if they are good to go or need to be tossed.

C'mon...Please read FAQs...No rants... I have a dispute with 'company X'. Can I post about it here? While we can empathise with your frustration, the best course of action is deal directly with the company. Escalate it up the ladder, file a grievance with PayPal or Ebay (if they were involved with the transaction). File a mail fraud complaint with the post office. No. I think they are made in China, but someone that owns one will know. "Country of origin" has to be disclosed, but not in their promotional materials. I saw no mention of this on the website.

I fished P-Line CXX for several years, #6 on spinning tackle, #12 & #17 on baitcasting gear. The line is tough as nails! Many of our members are huge fans of this brand. I prefer Yo-Zuri Hybrid. You should give both lines a try and see what you think. Both brands are dirt cheap! 8-)

I bought the first US Reel in combination with a "custom" rod from Ray Scott several years ago. The initial hype was "Made In the USA", specifically St. Louis. That didn't work out too well. I hope you have better luck and report your experience after fishing the reel for awhile. I suspect you will be back with The Posse later. 8-)

Geez... Quit fishing cheap jerkbaits, they literally last forever. Over time you will whittle down a few you actually fish. The rest are just for show. This category of lures is my #1 "collection". 8-)

I don't have any issues with women on the boat, someone needs to cook & clean! Oops! Okay, seriously...I have fished with Keri & Glenn, Deb & Greg and almost Mary, Gary's wife. Mary is the only gal that didn't catch more fish than me! Two summers ago a friend of mine brought his wife, who is a great fisherwoman, and two girlfriends. The women I didn't know didn't know how to fish, so I worked with them. On day two, one of the ladies boated a 6 1/2 lb smallie! Of course...I'm taking credit for that... : Anyhow, I welcome women to the sport and wish they would participate more on the forum. -Kent 8-)

Alright, listen up...this is very important: You fish the Swarming Hornet by reeling, NOT lifting your rod. Cast out and let the lure fall on slack line. When it hits the bottom, reel in quickly, 4 or 5 cranks. Then let it fall back to the bottom. Repeat until you feel you are "out of the zone". The blade lifts the Hornet. If you lift your rod the lure is just moved forward, not up. Strikes occur on the drop 100% of the time. 8-)
