  1. Yeah I have a Lowrance hds gen touch 2 at the console and a garmin striker 7sv at the bow, both pretty low in drawing amps. I think that’s the route I’m gonna go for now, doesn’t make too much sense to me to blow 300 bucks on a new three bank charger if I have other free options at my disposal to remedy the issue.
  2. Per the internet, per the internet, yes. It powers 2 fish finders, which I only have 1 on at a time. That would be the only extra stuff.
  3. Hey y’all, One of the charging ports on my three bank charger failed. Two still work, I’m going to hook up the two that work to my two trolling motor batteries. Before, one of the working ports was hooked to my cranking battery. My question is, will my alternator be enough to charge up that battery? It’s a 60 HP Mercury 4 stroke. I also have a small trickle charger I may hook up to the cranking battery if it’s sitting in the garage for a period of time. Will also check it with my multimeter. Thanks
  4. Interesting, I’ll give it a 8. heard this at a wedding this past week, kinda catchy.
  5. 40 bucks over here in Texas but that includes fresh and salt water. Jealous of some of yalls prices lol
  6. Bought me some new crankbaits, featuring my cat. She was just excited as me.
  7. Very beautiful home! Hope all works out for you guys and the process goes pretty smooth!
  8. Been wearing trucker hats my whole adult life (which isn’t too long) 😂. Whether it’s at work, fishing, going to the store, I usually have a hat on. I’ve been getting into wearing cowboy hats out on the water recently though.
  9. Just getting into crankbait, I’ve heard the KVD 1.5 is pretty good, also the bandit 100. Excited to try them
  10. Anything under 20, I would say for the lakes and rivers I fish.
  11. Welcome guys! Lake Travis and Lake LBJ over near Austin are Great Lakes. If yall find yourselfs headed towards San Antonio, send me a PM and I’ll let yall know of some good places.
  12. Hey y’all, Anyone have any experience with the new lews accel RX?
  13. About 30 minutes round trip when I take the boat out. 20-40 minutes when I fish on the bank or wading.
  14. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a fishing funk. The reason for this is that over the last few years, life has been so busy. My job is very demanding, I put in a ton of hours. Family, chores, maintaining my house, etc. injuries from work also kept me from fishing for a little while. Even some days when I do have time, I just want to sit on my couch and try and recoup. In the future, when time frees up and I can fish more, then I’ll think I may have a fishing funk as I’ll probably try and overdo it to make up for lost time.
  15. No reason to not have it on board except being lazy trying to squeeze it in the right place
  16. Hey y’all, Looking to replace my mounted three bank charger on my boat. The charger is used to charge up two 12.8 volt lithium batteries for my trolling motor. Have the third one Incase I need it for my cranking battery which is lead. My question to yall, does anyone run a three bank charger that’s not permanent or mounted? Or is that the preferred way? Thanks
  17. Honestly probably frogs for me, I have a ton but never throw them.
  18. I’m in the no music camp. I’ll rather listen to nature and hearing fish that jump to the surface. I’m a huge music lover, but usually reserve it for other activities.
  19. Welcome from Texas!
  20. I'm interested in those tree stakes, may have to swing by Lowes tomorrow.
  21. For duty issued weapons,(pistol wise) I’ve always carried a Glock 9mm in the following models: 45, 19 and 17. USP looks pretty sweet though!
  22. For clarification, I meant basically using spot lock or an anchor vs letting my boat drift or be mobile.
  23. Hey y’all, So I got to thinking today (I think too much) while I was out on the water, I've always thrown my soft baits specifically artificial worms, weightless or with a weight T rigged while my boat or kayak was stationary. Does anyone let their boat drift or have their trolling motor on a slow speed and throw the same lures not stationary? I’ve always thought throwing these specific lures are better thrown stationary.
