  4. As of recent years, I feel like smaller lures have started to dominate the market. To be honest, I don’t see a whole lot of fisherman in my area throwing anything big I’m interested in trying out some big lures now though
  5. Yeppers, always. Thanks!
  6. Update So I went to Lowe’s and got a wrench to remove the ball from the hitch and reverse it. Tried many times to loosen it, could not do it. As I’m on the ground trying to loosen it my neighbor comes up and asks what I’m doing. He then proceeds to try and help me and we can’t get it off. Ended up trying one last effort to hook the trailer to the truck while it was in the garage and this is the result. K Conclusion, There was no fix, I was just being silly I guess lol Thank you for everyone replies and help!
  7. Opened is the first two pics. Closed is the last pic. Looks normal to me, will be adding some wd40 though and I don’t have the right tool to remove the ball from the hitch so I’ll be headed to the store later.
  8. Ok I follow now, thank you! When I get home from work in the morning, I’ll check the coupler. Thanks again for all the replies so far!! I’ll take a look at this, thank you A Jay.
  9. The jack is able to crank down and I’m able to lock it down on the trailer.
  10. Sorry, do you mean like leveling it or?
  11. These are the specs of the ball I’m using, and the trailer is a 2 inch
  12. What do you mean by this? It lowers enough to rest on the ball, but because of the height difference I think, it doesn’t quite rest on the ball. It doesn’t fully go down and sit if that makes sense. Not sure if I need to wiggle it more or finesse it Mabye. Not my picture, but essentially it does this when I try hooking it up close to the garage. The ball is the right size and all.
  13. Hey y’all, So I’m looking for some recommendations or advice on the best way to hook up or get my trailer down from my garage. My driveway has a slight slope extending to the street. I’ve noticed that I have to get the trailer down as close to the street in order to hitch it to my truck. When I try to hitch it close to the garage, the trailer is sitting too high and it doesn’t sit flat on the hitch. (Unless I’m doing something wrong and anyone can point me in the right direction) My solution is trying to get it safely down the driveway so it’s more on a flat surface. The jack is able to go down and I am able to attach it to the trailer. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated Thank you See attachments

  20. 20 degrees with a good amount of wind on a Texas lake. I was in my kayak at the time and thought it was a brilliant idea to try and stand up in it. Ended up falling in the water and thankfully was close to the shore. Took a minute to get warm lol Learned my lesson from that one
