Same here first yr im using frogs ,putting them on a 6 ft falcon pistol grip heavy action and using a abu 4600 c,4 with 20 lb big game

You will have to push them down till they click ,experiment with them but remember if u click one down if you HAVE TOO do another one do the opposite side of the one you put down!!

I dont use a wrap i use a thing called get a grip for tennis rackets come in diff colors and are one piece all u do is put it on inside out and no wrapping works good no glue !!

Ya there are bass in our waters not in big numbers i fish farm ponds and occasionally see them. Im pretty sure they are more abundent in streams and resovoirs with rocks though. Before i knew anything about catch and release me and my dad woudl always look in the belly when we cleaned um i seen crawdads and baby snapping turtles many times. BASS are fericous and will eat anything they can fit in there mouth. I have seen bass eat just born baby ducks off the top of the water . A jig will work no matter where u are!!!! You mean craws not Bass, right! LMAO Im bass ackwards

Thanks reelmech sounds too much like work for me LOL i wish they made ugly stiks with a ERS and cork handles i know the ugly stik lites are cork and exoposed but they too have that twist grip wich i dont care for very much..Thanks much guys

I have a few ugly stiks with the pistol grip but i want to put a exposed cork pistol grip on these .How do i take off the old one and can i use gorilla glue to set the new ones????

I use a trilene knot never failed me and been tying it so long i can do it blindfolded along with a rapala knot i can do a uni knot really good also ...

Id use trimaxx 6 lb on ur spinning reel in green The baitcaster id go with 14 lb trimaxx green also..

ya i agree when i first saw um in the catalog i was like humm i can tighten a reel down TIGHT was i wrong.That ratchet systems is a joke its just a clicker NO actual rachet at all .Now if they had made it so when u sqeeze the the 2 buttons to tighten it then it could have been called a rachet!

I use my revo S,s for lures i dont change much and mostly my heavier ones like my 1/2 jigs and what not 2 rods i have with the revo s one has a 1/2 once jig and one has a zoom magnum lizard on it prob weighs 3/4 of an oz all together IMO the magnetic brake is good for smaller lures that aint so aero dynamic !!!
