I think in streams or lakes with water flow it wont effect them but in bodies of water that are only stocked by humans it has a negative effect the farm ponds i fish have good bass populations.if i kept every fish i caught in these ponds id give them 2 weeks before they were depleted of bass.

Not trying to start a reel war but at least with the abu if you ever needs parts which is very rare you can get them the rest of the reels life and yours.

I think this would be a no tresspasiing issue with theft involved.if its private if its public and yall buy fish to put in it aint much can be done if they are following the law.catch and release is a individuals right but so is keeping legalfish

How long will a c10 spin i gotta try this stuff ..i just change out gears handles and sideplates now.im a greenhorn with plenty of patients though.can i drill out my cog wheel myself?? I know where to add bearings and such just aint done that yet

Grab a 5500c3 Abu Garcia.i recommend this reel over a cardiff anyday.not because im a abu guy but because i used a cardiff before and the abu blows it away in all comparisons.

Thks i saw this posted today on FB the bearing will be a 3.2 mm that will fit in the old d series .I looked at all my 4600d s red buttons and they have bearings already.

U can do it all with a 1 spinning rod except deep crankin and froggin.3 spools 1 with braid 30lb 2 with mono 6 and 10 lb test.a 6'6" m action fast will do the trick add a pfleuger president size 30 and you can cover 95% of bass fishing the other 5% is specialty stuff that IMO is just fishing .

I can do anything with a spinning reel ultra light to heavy.i cant say that about BC i dont compete with myself about what im using just fish. i can fish both with perfection the only thing i can say about this is i like fishing weightless no resistant lures on a spinning outfit..not because of the casting part its the way it feels when im reelin in or letting it sit

I use the stuff around pilings with barnacles never had a break off but it looks worse then that pic after a few hrs each day.like i say never had a issue and i abuse my line

Its a plain jane 5000 size any parts from a reg 5000 wil fit it except ultracast UC reels have bearings in the side plates and none in the spools or bearings .btw nice deal

I just keep it simple.i have a bag that carries 3 plano 3600 siize boxes i fish for bass,rockfish,crappie, salt and fresh and i can do it all with 3 stuffed boxes.2 are soft plastics with hooks and weights to match and 1 box has hard baits spooks and minus 1s.a few rapalas im good.matter of fact i could catch fish worldwide im sure with my setups.and do it all with 2 rods

also the ghost breaks after the kink you didnt see way to much care . with big game all u gotta do is find fish

That pic reminds me of a bad guide.i use BG and never had a issue with knots,abrasion or longevity. matter of fact i found my brothers surf rod he lost during a hurricane yrs ago on a beach on the cheseapeke bbaythe reel was partly under sand for about a yr.it was frozen,in water out of water heat wind you name it.the line was solar collector 15 lbs part of the spool was faded .aside from the color change it held a knot like it was new and i tried to brake it with my hands it was impossible.all i can say if your having issues with BG its user error or equipment .BTW if you have a kmart store around you u may want to go take a look at the line section i bought 6 spools of BG 12lb green a few weeks ago for 2.24$ each this week they had 20 lb for same price and they also had fire line 10/4 for 4.44.Im checking tommorow to see if they put the 10lb on sale then ill grab them up

U may want to see if any of them are molded to each other they work great for crappie and bluegill.use a razor and be delicate and cut them tenticles

I use a fenwick hooksetter at 5'6" short handle.i do believe most big companies have short straight or pistol grips.
