C3 c4 c5 best reels out there,new borns and 60 yr old abus

6Lb yo zuri spinning and 12lb yo zuri casting

My variety reel is a c3 4600 size abu round reel with 12lb yo zuri on a 6'6" mh rod.also has a baitclicker i usr this setup for jigs,big plastics and saltwater rockfish,reds and catfish.it can do just about anything anywhere

Some baitcasters have very close tolerences between the spool edge and the frame on the inside and some dont .

JFranco.. sure it has a lot to with tolerances thats a accident waiting to happen let that 10lb line get around it just once.i had a reel like that yrs ago

Supremes have mag bodys and presidents have graphite.some ppl like the feeling of the mg bodys some dont care

Trade the casting rod in for a light action spinning rod about 6'.

Just put some dolphin fins i think they are 30$ for up to 90hp.even if you do get it factory fixed these things aint a gimmick

I dont deep crank but i do use a 3.8 reel to slow roll big bladed spinnerbaits.and i also use the same setup to fish manns minus wakebaits.

Look for a Z series penn also they are bullet proof ultra light to heavy

Flouro stretches also ..get yourself some yo zuri hybrid in 6 and 12lb and go fish problem solved

Floro has to many cons for me to even look at a box instore.i can feel a fish think with my calluosed hands and i see my line move when a Fish farts all with mono

Off topic kinda ,,40yrs ago top of the line rods were fenwick and berkely big money back then was 40 to 60$ a rod. now cheap but good rods are 40 to 60

From a automotive standpoint having bearings at each and middle depending on lenght is a great idea in spinning reels ,having a shaft 3 inches with support just in the middle long term is non existant .bearings aint made for side to side support
