The low pro black max the 80s one isnt all that great has plastic side plates and the cast dial is a joke.i have 6 of the round black max reels and they are greta i use then often.i also have the s models and the pro maxs they all went to a 6000 size i only have one that size .You can find them on fleebay bay often .Dont be put off by the cosmetics like was said they really get rashed easy.But they are tanks as is the 1500,2500,4600,.

Yall missed them for 10$ in december i hooked 5 .

I use lightning rod and falcon pistol grips for my TW fishing,5'6" and 6' med actions. Ive tried long rods they just dont do it for me i can finesse or pop,walk the dog way better then having a handle in my way.And way more accurate close and mid range

If they are like the saltwater ones around me they have to keeep moving constantly

Not when it comes to crankbait rods and live bait for catfish.uglystiks take care of this .But i do beleive in lighter rods for plastics.t rigged and jigs and i have 100$ or less rods to do this.i have used g loomis rods before nice and light.id buy them if i seen it fit for me to catch more fish.But i do fine with what i have.On a diff note i see a lot of 60 tho dollar trucks jacked up with 8 gran in tires wheels,along with a g loomis sticker and a salt life sticker and no mud or sand on any inch of the truck.Presitege runs rampet in the USA
