This is why i stay away from floro.the line and the knot are the weakest link between you and your fish. Why chance it all i use is yozuri and biggame never a problem and i never ever think about my line or my knot.Floros advantage is to minimal for me. I prefer my line to have many great traits then just one.And im gonna try braid again.And IMO all a person needs is mono and braid.i did it all back in the day with just mono salt and fresh and it never skipped a beat,anything else is just overthinking,i grew up poor and we ate most of what we caught never once did any of us complain about our line.And it might have to last a whole yr before we got new line.

I think it may be caught in a northern lake.thing is it could be only one in a naturla musky lake or trout lake.who knows i do know things live longer in cooler water.and i beleive she will be 30+ yrs old .just not many anglers up north fish for bass 20+ pounds .might have to think outside the box,,like instead of swimbaits maybe a certain color/size crawdad specific to this body of water over a 30 yr period,,who knows .bodys of water whether ocean or small lakes are pretty much the last frontiers.

Yep it works if your close to the fishing spot like less then a mile you will be overwhelmed.depending how u catch themi always throw half back then put minnow traps in diff areas as not to get them smart to the traps after a while they seem to notice their freinds disappear.

If yall are using the gear ratio to bring in fluke your doin it all wrong.Making a fluke work right has nothing to do with gear ratio.Its all about rod action.Then again i use a 5'6" pistol grip med action.I can make the fluke jump.out of the water if i want but it aint from my reel bein fast.
