  1. That was one of my concerns- and the other was sweating.
  2. Can you disable the auto inflate?
  3. Is this a good deal for $80? I need to have a type 3 device and have been putting this off for way too long. Anybody know of any other inflatable that is a good deal? TIA
  4. I would take this off your hands if you still have it.
  5. MI and IL atleast somewhere in between... Maybe it's good that they are not though... This has been a rough off season on my wallet already.
  6. That is where the state series for fishing is. I may touch base with you in the spring if that is OK?
  7. Which way do you rig the shellcracker?
  8. Yea the 1$ + price point gets expensive for certain colors.
  9. I have used many of the suggestions and like them all. I really like the idea of turning the craw sideways and will definitely try that this spring. The paddletail that I have been looking to replace had "Big Hammer" written on it and I was not sure if it was a big hammer mold or a legit big hammer swimbait as I have never purchased them- it came with a few swim jigs I bought at a fishing show. The boot was much bigger than most of my swim baits and caused a lot of disruption in the water column- I lost tails quicker but was a great producer. The amount of tails lost add up quickly and am looking for a generic bait with a big boot as I do not want to use money minnows for this application.
  10. Strike King Rage tails? or what other brand? Strike King is almost just as expensive.
  11. Title says it all. I am tired of tearing up keitechs on swim jigs and want something with a "big hammer" tail style. Anyone know who sells cheaper "Big hammer" tails? Thanks
  12. Thanks everyone for your help- I think I found a company that I am going to go with. If you are interested please let me know and I will share the information once I see how they turn out.
  13. The ones I have found are quite pricey- around $100/ jersey. I would prefer there to be a team shop so kids can get whatever they want. I like the embroidery idea.
  14. School logo
  15. I am looking for team jerseys for my high school bass fishing team. I cannot have any sponsors on the uniform itself but will need the school logo on it. Would prefer a lightweight dye T-shirt style but open to all suggestions. Thanks in advance.
  16. I am going to be going out tomorrow as well- can't beat 50 degrees in Chicago in JANUARY! WOW
  17. I agree with EvilCatfish- depends on your goal. I have the Shimano Blackmoon backpack but that thing is for EVERYTHING! If I am going out and I know what I am doing I just bring my "sling"- It was a biker backpack (over 1 shoulder) that I can wear front or back and fish with it on or off all day long. Just find one that fits your needs.
  18. Xrap Ghost- First cast of the season! Lost it later that day
  19. What size are those boxes?
  20. Yeah that is what I do. I have been trying to find the box that had diagonal slits (I think) in it for each bait to cut down on the band usage. I definitely could thin it out but that one time when I want something I am going to be so mad at myself lol.
  21. Definitely like them being sorted by depth/color/bill type but thanks for the suggestion
  22. This is my pack I use frequently. 4 cases for hard baits: Topwater Lipped Crankbaits Lipless Crankbaits (also holds my swim baits) Jerkbait I have 2 other small drilock cases for terminal tackle ect. in the top and have some space. The 1 side is for line and the other side is pocketed with not much in it. The sides carry all my hard cased plastics (keitechs rage craws ect) I carry all my soft plastic in another Deep box I want to find a way to put a 3700 spinnerbait/jig box in there and cannot find a good way to store my crankbaits without removing items. Is there a 3700/3750 box with great crankbait storage? Or do you have a better thought of storage for me? I tend to do all sorts of fishing- shoreline-through woods- on my boat- on someone else's boat. So I like having a lot of gear with me without having to change much.
  23. I have read a lot of people will put new line on every season. I have been fine keeping my line on for multiple seasons until it gets ruined by either UV or heavy use/ too short. I was wondering on average how long does your line last? I tend to run the line out at the beginning of the season to help with some memory that may have worked its way into the line. I also do flip my braided line reels once they are getting broken down but other then that I try to keep my line as long possible and rarely have line issues. Just was not sure if everybody stripped down to backing and then put new line on yearly or what everyone else was doing. TIA
  24. No real personal experience being in the water looking at it. But I can tell you that I have fished with braid and not caught a fish- then took the time to retie with flouro leader and caught fish right after. Same spot, same weight and same bait (slightly different time of day) and it yielded results. From the internet, "Fluorocarbon line is touted by line companies as the most invisible line on the market. It is said to have the same light refraction properties as water, making it virtually invisible or as invisible as fishing line can get. Fluorocarbon line offers many advantages to anglers, with the invisibility being among the best properties of this type of line."
  25. visibility is an issue in clear water. I like the benefits of the braid while still getting the invisible factor I never knew that was how people knew what pound drag they were at!!!
