Best terminal tackle storage ideas
the process I am using keeps the terminal tackle from getting wet and therefore no rust. I try to buy hooks and items I use a lot in bulk, but didn't want to bring 100 5/0 hooks with me. This seemed to be the best solution for my fishing routine.

Best terminal tackle storage ideas
I use a cheap Berkley binder with individual baggies inside each sleeve. I carry 3-5 of each hook, weight, jig head.

For those of you cold water kayak anglers - spring
I bring what is typically going to work for the season and lake I am fishing. If I brought everything with me, it would sink my kayak. I bring 3 3600 waterproof boxes, a bag of plastics and small 3500 box of terminal tackle. And 3 to 4 rods, again based upon season and lake.

With a SOT, if you are dressed right, you won't get wet. The only place would be your feet. Wear waterproof shoes/boots.- Rats?
I have only used the BBZ-1 Rat and it works well. I caught several fish in 2019 on a size 30 in grey ghost. The one you referenced is way out of my price range.- Kayak fishing net
I use this Net. Very happy with it.- What has helped you improve the most as an angler?
Putting into practice what I have learned here, YouTube, reading, and fishing with better fishermen that I am. It's one thing to read about it, another to actually do it.- Favorite Prop Bait ?
Creek Chub Injured Minnow- Spinnerbaits now vs 10 or more years ago
The older ones I have use barrel swivels rather than ball bearing, vinyl skirts rather than living rubber, and they came with single blades. Almost all newer spinnerbaits come with two blades. Give me 3/8 ounce white spinnerbait with a single Colorado blade and it will catch fish anywhere.- Kayak Fishing Clothing
For winter I wear layers: marino wool underwear, Kuhl pants, fleece top/hoodie, and good rain gear (this stops wind too). I also wear Columbia waterproof boots and neoprene gloves.- Reel for Swimbait Rod
I use a Lexa 300 with 20 lb big game.- What was your dream career?
I fell in love with Finance while attending school for computer science. I switched to Finance and have been doing that ever since. Started as an accountant and am now a CFO. I get paid for what I love doing. Not a bad deal.- Simplifying Paddletail Colors and Sizes
I use 2.8, 3.8 and 4.8 in ghost rainbow trout and bluegill flash.- Just got distance glasses, what to do regarding polarized sunglasses
I have several pair of Nike prescription sunglasses. I like wrap-arounds.- Opinions: The Most UNDER / OVER rated Rods & Reels
Under-rated reels: Daiwa Fuego CT and LT Under-rated rods: Daiwa Tatula XT Under-rated combo: Shimano SLX (for $129.99 this is the best deal going in my opinion) I stick to medium level gear for the most part. Most expensive reels I own are Tatula SV TWS and rods are the Tatula line.- 2020 Rod line up
Awesome gear, how do you hang the rods from peg-board?- 2020 Rod line up

Will do. I’m hoping to get a chance to use them in the next few weeks.- Am I missing out not using a jerkbait?
I fish jerkbaits out of my kayak often. Depending on the kayak, the technique can be performed standing or sitting. Standing I use the downward sweep, sitting is sideways. I use both methods. Both work.- Fuego CT or Tatula 100
That’s a good buy. With tax it’s $90. SO has the 100 for $99 plus I have a $10 coupon, which ends up being $89 (no tax). I agree the Fuegos are super nice. I have 3 already and one 100. I like the 100 I have too. Tough choice.- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
