I ordered a Tatula rod from Reeds, at $95, now they are back up to $149. That was fast!

Looks like they have Daiwa rods on sale too. Has anyone ordered a rod from them? How was it shipped?

I have this jacket and matching pants. Super happy with it. Very light, so must layer if cold.

I have purchased a Daiwa Tatula SV TWS for skipping. I want to pair it with a Tatula rod. I am deciding between these 2: 6'10" MH/F 7'1" MH/XF Any insight is greatly appreciated.

My gosh, I have the same thing! I have slowed down a bit lately, but I bet I’ve spent close to $2,500 on tackle the last year or so, including rods/reels, line, tackle bags, etc etc. There is good news: I don’t have any other expensive hobbies, this is it!

I have 2 Fuego LTs a 2500 and 3000. Both are excellent. I am super happy with them. Can't beat $75.

If it were me, I would go with the SLX combo. I purchased 2 from ALF and I love them! I have a 6'10" M/XF with 6.3:1 reel and 7'2" M/XF with 7.3:1 reel

I have this rod in a 7 footer. Fantastic! I have a Fuego CT on it.

The summer has been good, my top producer has been a Mann's Shadow in smokin shad. Also caught my year's big fish at 4.22 lbs.

I have 2 set ups I use for crankbaits: 7'2" M/F SLX with 6.3:1 SLX, or 7' M/F Carbon-Lite 2.0 with Fuego CT 6.3:1

I use the 30 lb for light frogging. Stuff is stiff and noisy.

I like flouro for those techniques. Ivisx or Assassin

I really like Berkley Cutters, 6th Sense Provoke 106X, Lucky Craft Pointer. I try to buy in perch or rainbow trout colors for my area.

I am going to purchase a new rod for this purpose: Either Daiwa Tatula 6'10" MH or 7'1" MH. Thoughts on rod length? Shorter easier to skip or longer?

I have 1 and am very happy with it. I also have the SV which is slightly better in my opinion.

Fuego LT can’t be beat in my opinion for under $100. Great reel can be had for $75. it has anti-reverse.
