  1. I've got a Rolex I've had for 40 years - wear it maybe twice every three years...special occasions only Last time I wore it was to the WT concert I went to last fall.
  2. I'm just wondering what the leader is - is it Gold, Blue or just a length of BasiX
  3. Same here - the 50#832 on my pitching rig is going into it's 4th year as is the 40#832 on my frog rig and the 20#832 on my MH/F spinning rig. Maybe next year I'll reverse them...
  4. Just a memory of being on the lake - last outing of last year...hopefully won't be too long before I get out again. 68 days to bass opener.
  5. Whopper Plopper 90 in Bluegill
  6. Only time I've ordered rods from Amazon - they were sold/fulfilled by an outside vendor - Evike.com, and they ship in tubes.
  7. I give you cultured - but that doesn't mean you have taste.
  8. Some of my academic accomplishments show that I'm pretty smart. Wife thinks I'm 'a sexy hunk'. So I'll take both.
  9. Northern's issue is rare - I've purchased 3 reels from Amazon, and my wife ordered the one I got for Yule from Amazon as well. All four came new in original boxes.
  10. Good choice - my refurbished '73 Evinrude 25hp cost me $700. $500 to repair what's been a good motor for you is money well spent in my book.
  11. At the very least I'd contact Amazon service - if it's sold as a new reel, there should be a box and instructions. They don't mention anything about it being used, refurbished or anything like that. Personally - getting a reel like that packaged as it was....I'd send it back for a refund.
  12. Was it ordered from Amazon Warehouse, or a 3rd Party Vendor?
  13. Go with 50# straight braid - that's what I use on my pitching reel.
  14. Ignore that part - A-Rigs in MN can only have one hook...so there's a 4:1 chance of loosing a bait but not getting the fish on a 5-arm.
  15. Yep - going on 2-3 years now with the same backing on my 'older' reels. 5 new reels this year need backing though.
  16. Ya - up here people put plastic owls and eagles on dock posts to 'keep the Canadian Geese' away and their docks free from goose-poop Funny to see those same dock with a dozen or more geese wandering about, ignoring the 'scary' owls and eagles.
  17. Any decent heavy rod would do - First couple years after I got back into fishing regularly, I was using a 7'0" Aird-X Heavy/Fast for my pitching work. Last winter I upgraded that to a Fury 765Flip, Ya - me too.
  18. Fleet Farm will not only match - but if it goes on sale someplace within 14 days...they'll refund the difference. "If you find a lower, current, advertised or everyday price on any identical in-stock item at any local competitor* or their website, we will match that price. Additionally, if you purchase an item and it goes on sale you can bring your receipt in within 14 days from the purchase date and upon review of management the difference will be rewarded." https://www.fleetfarm.com/static/faq-promotions-coupons#price-match-guarantee
  19. Still would be a violation of copyright.
  20. Definitely Short clip from last year's 'Worlds Collide' tour in Europe - Evanescence with Within Temptation...Amy and Sharon did a couple duets.
  21. Don't like plain water? Couple drops of this per quart...lots of flavors.
  22. I picked up 4 reels from Digitaka this past winter - all were in my hands within 3 days of my ordering them...free shipping, no tax.
