  1. If you got the ceiling-height for it...upstairs my ceiling is only 8', downstairs it's 7'....try that with a 7'6" flipping stick.
  2. The coastie version of a Nantucket Sleigh Ride.
  3. I get even more specific - instead of adding 'forum' to the end I put in 'site: bassresource.com' - that gives me nothing but BR posts on the item in question. Yep
  4. That's the Legend Tournament You can also get that in Victory for $190 or Mojo Bass for $165
  5. Prior to last year, my fishing was in a canoe - still took everything with me. An Extreme Qualifier (camo pattern) stuffed, a Plano B-series stuffed - those two under the middle seat. Two Advanced Anger II Large (3600 size), one Cabelas/one BPS, with 7x3607-10 boxes in each stuffed with plastics under the rear seat. 9 rigs in custom built racks in the stern.
  6. I don't even check, much less trust, BassTrakk now - yesterday it showed Seth in 90+ place all day with little to nothing. He ended the day in 15th
  7. Mine didn't bother me until I hit 50 - then one-by-one they started giving me issues. Now I don't have any of them left.
  8. Whoo-hoo - finally crept above zero this morning (it was -7 when I woke up). Now I get to go outside and start digging the truck out.
  9. Case in point - the one in my avatar pic? Caught on a spinnerbait on a calm day, middle of the day, just a few clouds overhead (you can see a couple of them in the pic). Spinners work whenever...
  10. I tried some 10# Advance on a reel that previously had 12# YZH....went back to the YZH and trashed the Advance. Despite being thicker, the YZH handled much better than the Advance.
  11. Bite your tongue - that's freezer-fare there. (practices selective harvesting)
  12. If I run out of my stocks of 832 and Smackdown, maybe I'll give this a try.
  13. Seconded - some plastics don't play well together, and Z-Man Elaztech is the worst of the bunch. No matter where you store your plastics, keep them in the original packaging. If that becomes damaged, don't use regular Ziplocs - get these. https://baitplastics.com/product/bait-bags/ These are the same type of laminated plastic the bait companies use.
  14. I just want the ice off so I can put some crappie in the freezer before bass season opens.
  15. Well, Seth got his game together - and all my guys are above the first cut...let's go gents.
  16. Plano boxes in a carry satchel when I'm not in the boat. BPS Extreme Qualifier bag - will hold 6-3700 boxes, more if you use 3701 boxes. Side pockets for loose items like pliers, scale, towels, gloves, buffs, etc. Bags of plastics can also be put into the pockets or into a 3707-10 open compartment box. Note: I also had a Plano 8606 that I gave to another member here as I had no use for it.
  17. Well, despite the snow I've been doing maintenance on my reels, deciding on which reel on which rod...which is fun considering I picked up 7 new reels and 6 new rods over the 'buying season' - some are replacing other rods/reels. This coming season I'll have 10 baitcasters and 3 spinners for bass - plus 4 spinners for crappie. First bass outing - tentative lure selection Jerkbait Spinnerbait Lipless crank Soft swimbait Course as it's 2-months, 20-days until season opener, that might change.
  18. I think it's gonna take me a bit to uncover the truck
  19. I think it's gonna be a bit for me as well - this morning out the front door...
  20. (looks at BassTrakk...winces) Hope Seth gets a clue...
  21. Ya - ran quite a few rolls through my Minolta XD-5 back in the day. Still have the camera - over 40 years old now but still in perfect working order.
  22. Ya - all totaled I got about 10" in the backyard from this starting Tuesday.
  23. Most LiFePo4 batteries you'll buy are made in China or at least have Chinese cells. Dakota and Battleborn are mostly US made, but you pay for it. Personally - I've had no issues with my Mighty Max AGMs and when I move to Lithium they're the brand I'll get. https://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Max-Battery-Replaces-Trolling/dp/B07PFY34H6
  24. Even when I was an avid downhiller, I avoided built-jumps like the plague, though I had no issue getting some air-time off of moguls. That thing scares me.
  25. Same here - if it hadn't been totaled some years back (other driver took responsibility at the scene), I'd probably STILL be driving my '98 WT-1500. It was the first (and last) vehicle I bought new. The '01 Silverado I'm driving now I purchased used in 2016 (half paid for by the WT insurance payout). Yes I beat it, but I also maintain it...hopefully it'll last until I don't drive anymore. On my fixed income, purchasing even a used vehicle now would put the hurt on my finances.
