  1. @Catt - Ummm - go through the ice and you can catch/keep LMBs until end of Feb and C&R SMBs for the same period in the southern zone...keep SMBs in the northeast zone. Come on, Chris...thought you knew the regs here.
  2. They're saying la Nina this year - means colder and wetter for us up in the north.
  3. Ya - that's inside use only - use the powder or granules for outside.
  4. That was true through the 2019 model - they did some redesign and I won't buy base President made 2020 or after. Ya - this.
  5. Do you mean Terro? I've dusted mounds in my yard with Terro powder - refresh every few days or after a rain...couple weeks, no more ants wandering the yard.
  6. One week until my birthday, and the snow is 'right on time'...almost always have a 'white birthday'.
  7. ALS

A tough way to go - lost a grand-uncle to that many years ago...you have my sympathies, my friend.
  8. Ya - the canoe looked a little rad with the hull numbers...especially since I got a non-standard font in vinyl...still met the state standards.
  9. Ya - Minnesota doesn't title kayaks or canoes. You need an original invoice or a 'Certificate of Origin' in order to register. And yes, if you add a TM to either, you need to register and get hull ID numbers assigned.
  10. Worse than that - the only casting reel left is the President XT - all the rest have been removed from Pflueger's site. Shame since I love my Patriarchs. Also, they're removing the anti-reverse switch from their spinners - so no turning off the anti-reverse anymore. PF is ruining what use to be a great line - I've had Pfluegers since the early 70s.
  11. So you don't own any post 2004 Pfluegers? That's when Pure Fishing acquired Pflueger.
  12. Is that why your Avatar looks ticked off...you haven't been feeding him enough?
  13. My 14' after rebuild will fit one adult and one pre-teen - neighbor will be borrowing occasionally to take his daughter fishing. Yes, I'm getting something from him in return for the loaning. My old 14' runabout was cramped with two The old 17' runabout my parents had when I was a teen - two adults, two teens was a crowd. For four people - I'd suggest a minimum of a 19'
  14. Normal price is $79 - end of year, they always discount the Limited Editions...I picked up a 30 last year that I use on a M/F rod for shakey, neko and wacky rigs with 8# InvizX I use an older President 25 (1000 size) for my finesse fishing with 10# hi-vis braid to 6# InvizX leader, but a 30 (2500 size) would also work fine.
  15. Feet installed - working on the main runs for the subfloor now. Right side is done and riveted in place, almost done with the left...couple more risers to rivet then the main run to be cut to length and riveted.
  16. I wouldn't go with the base President - but BPS/Cabelas currently has the President XT Limited Edition on sale for $49...go with that one instead.
  17. All short leaders do is give a bit of visibility change, they don't have enough stretch to give any shock absorption on hook-set.
  18. Well, as mine is a project boat that's going to be worked on all winter - the boat-monkey is handily keeping the bait-monkey at bay.
  19. My bait monkey was dragged into the back alley and got a whoopin' from his arch enemy....the boat monkey.
  20. Mislabeled? I've got a Procyon 7' LFS (PCYN701LFS) and right on the rod it's rated 1/16-3/8. I use it for ultra-finesse.
  21. From the Air Force
  22. Reaction Tackle out of Wisconsin offers a number of colors for both it's 4-carrier and 8-carrier braid...including 'Timber Brown'.
  23. What knot are you using - FG, Albright or Alberto shouldn't have an issue.
  24. If it is a casting reel I use braid with occasional flouro leaders on both a Fuego CT and a Patriarch...don't use leaders all the time, just certain techniques. I dunno why a Tatula wouldn't work - even if it's the Tatula CT as it's almost identical to a Fuego CT. Spinners - I've got braid to leader on a Mitchell Avocet RZT-3000 and a Pflueger President-25...no issues there, and they're 'budget' reels...a Tatula LT should be more than capable.
  25. Ya - that's pretty much it. BPS/Cabelas - unless you want to order a bit cheaper from a Malaysian site that I can't recommend, or from the auction site for more (Some people are asking over $100 for the XT-LE)
