Do you know anyone who quit fishing?
It was definitely a huge learning curve going from lakes to rivers. When he sold his boat, it went with all his tackle from 40yrs of fishing. I was bummed but I didn't know where to fish either till some friends showed me where to go, then I showed him.

Do you know anyone who quit fishing?
My Dad did it. We moved from Central Fla, the Bass capitol of USA. Well we moved to South Ga, home of no Bass lakes/resevoirs. Only a few rivers and ponds. Well my dad said no where to fish I guess, sold his boat, 25ish rods, and all his tackle. After a few years I showed him Bass fishing our local rivers. Altamaha, Ocmulgee, Ohoopee, Satilla, etc.. Well after that he's bought another boat, new rods, and building new tackle back up.

Savannah, GA fishing
I do in Brunswick, only 1 public pond I fish out there. It's on Blythe island, holds decent Bass and relatively unfished. Its inside the park, Google it. But most the time I go I'm going saltwater fishing, reds, trout, and sheepys

5 Gallon *Pitching* Challenge
Theres really only 2 ways to fish our local rivers, underhand cast and pitching. I pitch regularly every time I go out. In our rivers, tons of structure, current pushing/pulling you, and you need to be as accurate and quiet(entering the water) as possible. I use a 7'3H Duckett Ghost w/ 8:3:1 SLX Practice makes perfect, the more you flip the better you get. I never practiced in the yard, but lots of time on the water. Pitching is probably one of my favorite ways to catch Bass. Good thread! ?

Pressured Water
Fish where they are, don't go try and fish where they ain't. If certain spots are pressured it's because they are there. Stay there and figure out how to make em bite!

Top 5 Producers?
1. Red craw square bill 2. War Eagle Finesse Spinnerbait 3. Buzzbait Cavitron 4. Punch Rig 3/8 w/zoom Dead Ringer 5. Zoom Super Fluke Those are my top 5 in order of most fish produced since January 1st. That Cavitron is climbing the ladder quickly though

Would you try topwater ? Or waste of time
Fluke, fished super slow. I'm that guy throwing topwater in winter

Florida pond fishing
Give it shot I think you'll like it. I throw it on a 7'3 med/fast spinning combo. Like Glenn said in the video if you new to dropshotting your tendency is to move the rod tip alot. But don't! Less is more Personal favorite is zoom Junebug trick worm
- Best buzzbait?

Looking at Duckett Rods Terex or Triad?
I agree with that, I do prefer my MMP over the Terex, it does just have a better feel to it. Seems like to me the micro eyes limit length of cast? Definitely an accurate stick for sure

Looking at Duckett Rods Terex or Triad?
I too fish with a Terex, forget what I paid for it, have had it maybe 2yrs? Great rod, it's 6'6 medium, I use it for topwater. I would buy another one. Can't offer anything on the Triad. I also own a Ghost and Micro Magic Pro. Again solid products.
