I like Berkley Fusion 19 hooks. I have several different styles from them. I changed the trebles out on a popper to them and super sharp low cost.

I'm excited to fish with someone beside myself. Hopefully I can learn a thing or two.

My 735 came in the mail today. Super excited!

My 735 Sierra came in today. First impression it is extremely light in weight. I paired it with a Shimano SLX. I threw some line on real quick and practiced flippin in the yard. It is the most sensitive rod I own. Spring and summer can't come fast enough. I'm really glad I stepped up but I still love my Fury.

I have a Fury 705CB and love it. It is very light and extremely well made for the price. When I was shopping for another rod I looked to Dobyns and found that TW has the Sierra series (next model higher) on sale for $119 until 01/07/19 for Christmas. So I picked one up. It won't be here until next week.

I'm for May. My work schedule is no good for any time in January. I have never been to either of those place so either one works for me. I have a kayak that I would love to bring.

I am in the same exact "boat" hahaha so to speak. I am boat shopping myself. Nothing but Trackers are plentiful around here. I have found 1 Triton TX17 and a few 18-19'. Either people hold on to their 17's or no one really sells them. I have pretty much landed on a Tracker pro 190.

I've been catching fish down at St. Mary's lake but they are nothing special. All have been less than a pound.

Keep an eye out for end of season sales/clearance. This time of year is a really good time for that. As guys turn to the woods and come off the water stores will change focus and cut inventory.

I have an all white BPS carbonlite 2.0. It bothered me in a bad way at first but I love the combo so the colors don't phase me as much now.

I have a fury and put a shimano reel on it. The reel has a red spool and red accents. It drives me nuts with the green.

Today I learned heavy winds aren't kayak friendly. But still managed to catch a dink on a squarebill. I love fall crankbait fishing. Up until last weekend I had no faith in crankbaits. I threw them a lot this summer and nothing. Last weekend, I tied on a silent Grizzard shad KVD squarebill. After my third cast along rip rap I caught my first crankbait fish. It was no trophy but a fish nonetheless. Today, I went right back down to the same spot with a chart black back rattling squarebill and caught my second crankbait fish.

I can't remember the last time I threw a texas rigged worm. I throw texas rigged craws a lot with terrible results.

That stinkin bait monkey, Gets me every time. I have mixed results with green pumpkin. I don't think I have landed a fish on straight green pumpkin. Almost always has some sort of flake in it. I switch between junebug, watermelon, black and green pumpkin.

I fish from a kayak so I like to stick to lakes. I tried the potomac once just north of smallwood. It's funny you mention those two. They were on the top of my list in those exact configurations .

Placed an order from BPS the other day and got some silent and rattle KVD 1.5 in a couple shad colors. Also got a few lipless in both silent and rattles. FedEx says should be here tomorrow.

Not to hijack from the OP but do you guys notice/prefer silent or rattles? I have a few yo-zuri squarebills that I like but I'm also a sucker for SK because of cost.

I like Berkley fusion19 or Vmc hooks. The Berkley's happen to be on sale at BPS right now. I'm not expert on hook sizes but I have some 3.8 Keitechs and I think they are on 3/0 swimbait hooks.

I have a garmin striker plus 4cv on my kayak. It's only $180. Super easy to read and use. Not sure if you have a trolling motor or not but it comes transom and trolling motors.

Yesterday I made a rod holder out of 1" and 1 1/4" PVC. I would post a picture but the file size is too big.

they are a fun little fish to catch. they don't bite hard but put up a pretty good fight.

It is a perch. I have no idea why I put crappie. I'm not a fish expert.

My buddy Steve invite me to do some river fishing today and we did pretty good. Between the two of us we caught about 60 white crappie and 3 small stripers.
