I know that some stuff probably goes out the day of idk some of the stuff definitely peaked my interest it's just not out yet anyone know when they usually go on sale? like a general guess? obviously everything is different but just thought i'd ask

While in my Kayak or on the 1 Bank spot where i fish sometimes when i see some of the bass fry or babies i will see a few with white marks or like maybe wounds is that maybe infection or like maybe fighting other fish idk ? i have not found a single bass or any other fish either dink or bigger with these marks any ideas of what it could be ? wish i could get a pic of one so i could give a proper example

could be it looks like this ... it's not the exact picture but this is the stuff that all of a sudden out of no where showed its face also i look down and see things that look like weird bones ... but i don't think they are bones i think it's some sort of underwater plant ? sometimes it looks like it's part of this stuff but also sometimes it's off by itself

Obviously my main worry was that that the fish i was introducing would destroy the bass population or other game fish pop in the pond ... somehow lol i don’t know exactly how i thought that but it was my main worry and now that i know it’s illegal I won’t be doing it lol

Anyone use these as depth and or fish finders and have you had any success with them? deeper is obviously extremely expensive but if it's worth the price i might go for it any suggestions ? also what is the difference between the IBobber Pulse and IBobber original AND ibobber kracken? like is there any major differences that makes one better than the other 2 ?

ya i don't think i have saw a few kayakers on the pond with bobbers so i'm definitely figuring them in Just don't want them ruining the bass fishing or pickerel fishing or perch fishing on the pond like i don't want them taking over the pond My first though was .... these minnows are just going to get eaten by the game fish in the pond because of how low of a number it was but like i said it was just something i was told to do by my father and me and the others kids just followed what we were taught

ya the issue is i can't find anything pertaining to baitfish on my states website also a lot of terms on the website i can't understand when it pertains to fish like ... liberation idk i did find something on bait .... but it says nothing about if it's illegal or not to dump them in the water just what you can use and how you can catch your own bait obviously im not trying to do anything illegal or ruin a body of water so my main goal is to avoid those lol

Went fishing this thursday - sunday ..... caught 2 large mouth >.> what's going on i couldn't stop them from biting june to early august ... now the lure i was catching them on the most is getting NO love Also any of my Massachusetts buddies here know the regulations on baitfish ? Was taught by my father just to dump any minnows i had left after the weekend into the lake or pond (usually ***) and i was told JUST a few minutes ago that this is illegal in many states and im not trying to do ANYTHING freaking illegal not my kind of thing

Guess i need to learn up on my rules ... was never taught the rules other than gotta have a fishing license Anyone know how to find my states specific rules? haven't found anything specific on my own state especially when it comes to this

So i used live bait over the weekend and had about 14 shiners left and was leaving my vacation house and not coming back for a week so i decided to just dump them into the pond instead of keeping them i will just buy new shiners next week but i also had the after thought .... what if adding fish that arn't normally in a pond or lake throws off the balance? ever since i was a kid this is what we would do just dump the fish into our pond because we had no use for them where we lived and we don't own like one of those airation things. So thought i would ask here. Obviously 1 or 2 fish aren't gonna have an affect i think but maybe if you do this enough over a period of time it would have an affect? maybe i'm just over thinking it.

2 were dead inside a big patch of like green weeds or something idk if they died in there or floated into it then got wrapped around in it 2 were in the process of dying all 4 looked like there was nothing wrong with them could there be an issue with the pond ? i never remember finding fish just dead with no issues that i could see visually just thought i'd ask here

Do you cast braid just like mono or Flouro put finger over line free the spool then cast and move finger at height of cast ? (With a spinning reel)

So i bought my GF who is trying to get into fishing an Ugly stick with a GX230 5.2:1 gear ratio spinning reel and it says between 4-8lb test She is a girly girl and wants to put pink fishing line on so i'm thinking i can find some pink braid to put on it BUT i was told that i can put a little more lb test on a reel when it comes to braid? (The guy at dicks told me this when i was looking for fishing line for myself but i have never used braid and usally just go with what is suggested on the reel) So if he was right what LB braid could i put on her reel ?

i have only broke off 3 fish so far this year 2 from a snap swivel breaking then i switched to tying on lures and this weekend i broke something off but idk what it was i think with me being in a very small pond that i would find the fish floating around ? i have found 3 dead fish in my pond this weekend 2 perch and 1 large mouth the perch looked to have been taken out by something (snapping turtle or other fish?) and the large mouth basses mouth was wide open when i found it no bite marks or anything when i checked it out i think it was a 2-3 lber but bloated up to 4-5 lbs ? idk

honestly have no idea how the thing broke me off fish started to go underneath my kayaK and i started to bring my rod to the side he was going to and just SNAP he was gone ?
