In Georgia, I can fish year round. But, spring and fall are definitely when the biting is best. Like @Ohioguy25 said.

@Steveo-1969 named all my jig trailers. I match the trailer as close as possible to the color of the jig.

Man, that brings back memories, when I was a little kid my parents would rub that on my chest. I hated it, and would have rather been congested then have that greasy, strong smelling stuff on my chest. Now that I’m an adult, I don’t touch the stuff.

Santa gifted me a Curado DC 150HG. I gifted myself a G. Loomis GCX 843c. With that setup, I'm going to learn how to use crank baits and lipless baits better.

My grandfather did the crossword puzzle in his local paper everyday. I have inherited the same love of word games. Also, I’m a firm believer in keeping my mind stimulated and and challenged. So, I love doing crosswords, sudoku, wordless, and weaver.

Fish it like a spinner bait. Slow roll it with an occasional pop or pause. You can also yo-yo it.

Blood and gore don’t bother me at all. But, hyperextensions make me quiver.

I like to learn new techniques and try new lures. However, it seems like I always go back to the tried and true, like the Ned rig or Carolina rig.

I decided to dip my toes into the high end rod pool. So, I bought a g. loomis gcx 843 crankbait rod. I’ve read mixed reviews about the rod, but am satisfied. I also purchased a Spro fat papa square bill. When the rod is delivered and I use it, I’ll post a picture and review.

Heck no! I’d rather fish a honey hole alone, than have the recognition of the owning the state record.

Has anyone used the Yamamoto Zako as a swimbait instead of the intended chatter bait trailer? if so, what size hook did you use? How successful was the Zako as a swimbait?

I never understood why my parents would always say that things start falling apart after 40 years old. Then I turned 40, and now I realize what they meant.
