I would just grab one of the toddler setups. They have all kinds of super hero ones. Take him to bass pro/ cabellas to pick it out. The whole experience will be fun.

I have a 6’6” medium fast bps casting rod. It’s easily one of my favorites. I just like the way it feels in my hand. Pretty much all of my other rods cost a lot more. i put a chronarch mgl on it and it’s great. It is was it is. We like what we like.

Lots of days during the season. I just bring a couple with me In The morning. They ride shotgun. all day long we talk about how we hope to get out. They get so excited.

Where does one find such a great deal.

I wouldn’t buy any of the loud colored rods period. as much as I would like to say I only think about the performance. I would rather them not be ugly.

Bps carbonlite 2.0. 6’6” mf. It’s good for everything in its weight range. Great popper/jerkbait rod. Also great for light t Riggs and weightless plastics.

That description makes it pretty hard to not seriously consider that rod. For traveling light while pond hopping.

I would buy one for $70. Throw a slx on it and do some fishing.

Try braid on the sierra. I used to use a fury 705 cb with braid for spinnerbaits. It was my favorite spinnerbait rod until I broke it.

The amount of orders they get every day is probably an unbelievable number. I would think if you pick the free shipping. You go to the back of the line, then they go in order. Express shipping orders jump the line as they come in. not trying to defend them or anything, but I’m sure the employees are stuffing boxes fast as they can all day.

I get you’re point. But in the grand scheme of things this situation is mildly annoying at best. if it were me. Even though they charged my card. I’d feel like I was getting a present I didn’t know about.

I can’t remove the brand right now. but I found a 7/0 weighted hook, to me it fits better then the 6 or 8.

That’s pretty much what I was thinking. Not sure what the ci4 cost new. I have the chronarch mgl. It $280 new. If it’s in any kind of decent condition where a good cleaning puts it back in shape. It’s a steal.
