Yeah they are small. All the videos I e seen say to fish it like a jig. The footage off it In the water looks pretty cool.

Never mind rod and reels. Wait till you go to the store with $100 to spend thinking this is a good day and you get to the register look in the basket you thaught you needed and there’s only 4/5 baits in it. Collecting gear and tackle is it’s own sport/hobby. For me anyway.

I’m thinking maybe swimbait for my next setup or the one after that. The fury swimbait with a tranx 200 for a full price of $320 I think seems resonable to get started to try it out.

The one I went to was a big store and they were cleaned out of allot of stuff that was on sale by 11:30 and they opened at 10. They were trying to restock. It was a madhouse.

Anyone try these yet. I wanted to grab a few today but they were all picked over only got one. They had allot of empty racks on the shelf, like they sold out fast cause they were on sale. Boy I can’t wait for spring I have allot new cool new stuff to try out.

Welcome, I myself got back into it after taking my 5 year old grandson fishing. I hadn’t fished for about 25 years. The first time I brought him I didn’t have a rod or a license and thought boy this is stupid I should get a few things to fish with him. It took one cast and all the memories came right back. The bait monkey has been beating me up ever since. I’m glad to meet someone who got fired up again the way way I did. Oh and yes lures are allot more $ now.

Just had it’s maiden voyage in the tub lol. It was allot of fun, making it not playing in the tub. I think I could definitely get into this. Eyes are google ones from the hobby shop, not great but I was to impatient to wait to get some. I think it came out ok.

To be specific, since I don’t have allot of stuff my mind thinks about getting gear. Yeah I’m that guy, I can’t even help it. It’s all about what my next set up is. I just got a new rod and I’m waiting for bps trade in for the reel and I’m already past it wondering what I want next. It’s awfull. Buying gear and baits is it’s own hobbie and addiction in the off season. Now trying to make my own baits has consumed me, hopefully it will curb some of the other stuff. I’ll put up a pic of my first finished product later tonight.

The more I look at it, I think I’m better off buying a decent kit and upgrading the gun later. By the time I buy a gun, hose regulator,moister collector. I don’t think I’m that far off from the price of a kit with a descent enough gun to get started. Would still love opinions or advice.

I did a quick search didn’t really find what I was looking for. I have a air compressor already can I just buy a decent gun and hose for now and if so please recommend a decent mid grade gun. Not looking to break the bank just want to play around for a while and see how much I get into it. I can get a propor compressor later if that’s possible. Looking to get started and play.
