He has great vids. Just started making my first one. Painting without a air brush is tough. Don’t want to buy one until I know if I’m gonna get into this or not.

I have the gorilla glue. I can get a different kind of it’s better. Actually I just used the last of it. I used that cause it’s strong and easy to get at Home Depot.

what Do you guys use. I looked it up one place said paint thinner. I tried that in a test batch didn’t work out thinned out nice then hardened in about 30 seconds. What do you guys that paint your baits use.

I’ve been waiting for this sale all winter. Got my eyes on some stuff.

I didn’t do that yet I was thinking I could use 60/40 lead electrical solder. Other ideas are welcome. I was gonna fill up a fish tank and add a few drops at a time until it slowly floats. It already weighs 5/8’s I’ll down size my next one a little bit. The line tie is screwed through the lip so it’s pretty solid just needs to be filled in. Yes I’m going to use epoxy. Thanks for any help.

Anyone know if hobby shops have the right kind of eyes.

It’s poplar. I messed up the slot bad. I put the line tie through the bill into the bait I can fill the rest in pretty solid I think. We will see. Attempt number one was fun. We’ll see how it swims.

Did it all by hand it’s a little off, going through the motions on it anyway just to play. Only took about a hour to get that far.

Nice stuff man. I just picked up a few things to try carving out my own to get through winter boredom. What wire do you use for hooks and line tie. I just picked up some 18 Gaige but now looking at pics that seems to small.

Nothing like being able to hit the pond for a hour before work just because. And even better hitting it for a hour after work to unwind. So I guess dripping sweat in my dirty work clothes at 90 degrees fishing after working all day in the heat and dealing with mesquitos helps me relax. I just now realized I have a problem.

Nice, even other people’s new stuff makes me happy.
