  1. I think your good brother spend some time thinking about what you really want in it and out of it and start shopping.
  2. Ain’t that the truth
  3. To be honest I’ve caught some nice fish on absolutely terrible casts no where near we’re i was trying for. Sometimes it was a good thing sometimes it was a bad thing lol.
  4. Sounds like you know what you can afford. Save up all winter and get yourself a nice boat in the spring. Put half the money down and keep the rest to have several months payments tucked away already. This way you will always be ahead of it. Sometimes life happens and things get tight this might give you a little time to get back on track without running into big problems. Looking forward to boat pics in the spring.
  5. I’m sure deep down you know what you can afford. Also you do only live once, if you have the means for a boat and want one get one. Come up with a budget you can honestly afford and go for it. I think sticking to the budget once you start looking will be the hard part. Bottom line you work hard for your money, do things you enjoy with it. No one ever said on their death bed I wish I worked more and saved more money.

Right that’s what I was thinking lol. When I pulled it out of the water I was all excited thinking atleast 4, either way great fish definitely one of the hardest fighters I’ve had. I wasn’t dissapointed with the scale it is what it is.
  7. That sounds awesome. I don’t think it needs to be said cause I’m sure there’s some barbecue and beers involved. Sounds better then a game of horse shoes at the family cook out.
  8. Another vote for the nasci 2500. Great for the money, smooth every thing.
  9. I need work in all areas. Most places I fish a roll cast isn’t even possible with my 6’6”. I practice that in my yard here and there but it’s not big enough to really matter. I’ve never pitched or flipped in my life. Even fishing parallel to the shore is out most of the time, I’m usually fan casting as far as I can or as close to the things I can reach as I can. I’ll play in the parking lots this winter when I can’t fish.
  10. Nope definitely can’t land it in a bucket. I’m just now able to get consistent distance on the regular. Yeah I understand accuracy is more important I was just playing in a parking lot. Plus I fan cast from the bank so distance definitely helps.
  11. The currado i is the only one I e ever used and it’s awful nice. I don’t have anything to compare it to but it’s super smooth and casts well. Currado k sorry
  12. Obstacle course sounds fun wish I had enough room to set one up.
  13. fish weren’t biting this morning so decided to do a little playing in the parking lot. I have a currado k on a 6’6” bps carbonlite 2.0 mh/f and avereged 90’ with a weightless sticko from bps that I threw on a scale and came up .3 ounces so give or take 3/8 about. That was with one break on and the other setting on 1. That’s the bottom end of the lure rating for that rod. I’m sure I’m a little off I was using a 30’ tape and curb stones with markers to measure so it’s not perfect but close. I’ve only been using a baitcaster since August so I’m not the best with it either, was basically just playing and thought I would share. Anyone else measure weightless sencos to see how far they can get them. I’m sure they could go allot farther on a medium power rod.
  14. Good job, and yeah it does a little bit. Lol

Broke my skunk streak tonight. With three dinks and this one. Good solid fight the hole way. Inhaled a vile bug with some liquid Mayhem from a mtb rubbed on it. Honestly I thought it was gonna be a little heavier.
  16. Anybody use them. I’m looking to add a crankbait setup to my collection next. I can get a good deal on quantum gear if I’m interested. I do t know much about them. If anyone uses them and can share anything that would be great. Or suggest anything specific for me to check out that would be great. Thanks in advance for any info. Just want to add thinking medium power don’t have allot of cranking stuff yet so not looking for anything specific yet just trying to learn more about the brand in general. I’m sorry I put this in the wrong place
  17. Great review, and it’s almost mean to keep showing pics of them big ones lol. Just kidding it’s a sharp looking set up I almost didn’t even notice the fish.
  18. That’s a shame, unfortunately people ruin places like that. Sometimes it’s a stickly owner that has every right and other times it’s people that leave there trash and wreck the place that makes them like that.
  19. Went out again to a different pond this morning from 6am-8am not a bite. The water is so high it’s crazy.
  20. For the second time today had about a hour to kill this morning. It was 52 out and raining. Now it’s 56 and raining softer lol. Gonna give it another shot. Just gonna drag a 7” curly tail black worm that I’ve had success there with almost all season until recently. I might throw a big mega bass walking bait only because I was reading up about ms slammers earlier. Mostly because I am a child and that might satisfy my need to order o e right now.
  21. Went out casting, since I can’t call it fishing anymore. Hit three ponds between last night and this morning. Had one blowup on popmax and my cousin got a pickeral on a chatterbait we got those right away not another bite. I e probably said this before I think they’ve just moved to we’re I can’t get them from shore. 4 hours in the 60 degree rain was fun today.
  22. It’s dark cloudy and 65 degrees out right now we had a warm light rain most of the day with a warm breeze. I’m leaving work early and going to hit two ponds. I have a good feeling about this afternoon lol.
