I just couldn't resist... I don't "HATE" any lure. However, I dislike all inline spinners because of the propensity to hang them up every cast. I know they're productive and have used them. But, I would rather catch fish on any other lure than an inline spinner. What's even funnier is the fact that you're so incensed about my hate you've asked twice why I did, LOL! I truly just couldn't resist the urge throw that Tombstone reference out there. Ultimately, it was a joke..

These definitely run consistently deeper than any other brand I've tried. They hold depth really well. And the vibration is very tight as well. My boat is aluminum and we could hear the LV 500 thru the hull even when we couldn't hear any other brand. These also do VERY well with a yo-yo retrieve off the bottom. Even the stock hooks are decent, as well they should be at this cost!!

Catching some schoolies today with the Lucky Craft LV 500 and caught two in one cast. I've done this once before with a crank bait, but it was years ago. Thought I'd share a pic! BTW, no other lipless would trigger strikes. We tried Red Eye Shads, and Original Rattle Traps. The LV 500 has brass and glass rattles for a unique sound.

Very sage advice. As long as it's not a stout wind most of the time wind can give you an advantage to holding your boat in place with your TM as it will provide "leverage" against your TM thrust. And wind helps the fishing too, right?

Hower, I'm in your corner 100%. However, I travel 4 states almost monthly for my business and there are help wanted signs in EVERY town regardless of size. Americans of a certain age group are LAZY and refuse to work mainly due to the easily accessed "free" money from our government. "Free" money is doled out in an effort to turn elections and help certain parties maintain power. But, as usual, these bums are even too lazy to go vote!! Anyway, I hope this isn't too political. It's just the way it is. My company is a manufacturing company and just TODAY we had new help hired that just decided not to show up on the first day. No call, no reason, just bailed on the job. So, while I believe in putting America first, I also can see why these companies are having to seek out different avenues to accomplish the goal of rolling out a product in a timely manner under budget. It's hard to do in this country anymore. Oh yeah, the "free" money obviously isn't free because our government does nothing to earn money. It just taxes YOUR dollars and then gives it away.... rant over

The vinyl in my G3 has a pebbled texture to it and is quite forgiving to the knees. I use my shop vac to get the bits of trash, tag ends, plastic bits, leaves and twigs up. I purchased an extended hose and can do the whole boat without having to get out until I'm done. My decking is also gray and reflects nearly all the heat and soaks up very little of the hot rays of the sun. The ONLY thing that has stained my deck was plastic dip that spilled. Spike-It stains EVERYTHING, though.

Leave your overhand knot loose enough to stick your finger through the doubled line loop between the hook eye and the knot. When you run the hook through the loop pull the loop up to the top with the overhand knot. Stick the tip of your finger in double line loop under the overhand knot loop. The knot and the loop should be above your finger and the hook eye below it. SLOWLY tighten by pulling BOTH lines. Ease the knot and the loop down toward the hook eye by slowly slipping your finger out of the hole while pulling both lines. When you get the knot semi tight you can moisten it. I always do, but have skipped it a few times to test the theory.... Anyway, finish tightening the knot by pulling BOTH lines. Do NOT overtighten. A slow steady pull until your sure it's snug. Snip the tag end and go fishing.... The key to a successful Palomar is pulling the loop up to the overhand knot and easing them down together. This really helps keep all things equal and prevent certain parts of the knot tightening before you're ready to snug it down. The only way to do that is to put your finger in the double line loop under the overhand knot to keep everything in place. It's very simple and takes no longer than any other knot. I've used the Palomar knot on Flouro and ALL lines for years and never have an issue when it's tied like I just described.

If you couldn't force it out neither can the fish shake it out. Some think a fish produces liquids that will rust a hook in short order. There's really no way to prove that. However, the fact that there is a plastic frog wedged in this fishes mouth remains. And that will, more than likely, prevent any food from entering the bass's throat. So, yes, you probably killed the fish.....eventually...

This quote is a bit telling. When you feel the bait weight down DON'T STOP reeling. Just give your rod a quick jerk to set the hooks and KEEP REELING. When you stop, if only for a split second, those bass can spit that lure so fast it's hard to see. The guys at Tactical Bassin' have some awesome underwater footage that will shock you at how fast a bass can smoke a hardball and yet spit it out before you can react to it....

I use those clips with great success. I always leave the rings on and place the clip above it. Never had an issue.

It's always better to have a little more than you "need" than to need a little more and not have it.....

Select your photo then two finger click on it to open the window that has EDIT WITH near the bottom. Select EDIT WITH and choose PREVIEW from the menu the pops up. A new window will open with your photo. Then go to your toolbar at the top of the screen and select TOOLS. From the TOOLS dropdown box select ADJUST SIZE. That'll hook you up.

Owner Hyperwire split rings size 2 with either Owner ST_36 hooks or Gamakatsu Aaron Martens Nano Finesse hooks. The latter is very sharp and slick and also works great on jerk baits....

I use Smackdown on my spinning rig. It's perfect. I tried it on my T-rig bait caster in 40 LB and it frayed at the tungsten weight awfully! And I peg my weight. I was terribly disappointed. So, I am moving it to my buzz bait rig. It may not do that with a lead weight but I swapped the weight to different styles in tungsten and they all frayed the line.
