First thing I'd want to know: are you boating or bank walking?

Look closer. That 14 OUNCES (2 ounces shy of 4 lb) , not 14 one hundredths of a pound. Looks like a 4 pounder to me.

Whoa! Quick count ~ 35 of them.... That's what I call ALL IN..... My blue bladed one we talked about in an earlier post should arrive early next week. Just in time for pre-spawn action down here. 3/20 is the full moon. I'm a bit giddy.- Cormorant Predation - New Article!
In my neck of the woods we call them water turkeys. They are vicious predators on our catfish ponds. In the 90's we obtained a special "permit", for lack of a better word, to shoot them as long as we were on our ponds. Catfish ponds are a major source of income and are intentionally overstocked for harvest. A cormorant can eat a bunch of catfish in a short timeframe, especially when the water depth is less than 6 ft and the fish are on 6" centers... We despise them.- Liking the new Tackle Warehouse site now.
Change is never easy. Especially when you're forcing change on a demographic that is known for hating change....namely a bunch of crusty bassheads. After a few hours digging around, I too have figured it out and am back to enjoying the set up.- Truck/boat colors

I do as well. So, I fish the Magdraft Freestyle.- Safety boating topic. About a engine not restarting in desolate areas.
That new motor didn't come with a kickstart option?? I have learned that general maintenance performed with consistency in a timely manner prevents situations like the one described by the OP. No amount of maintenance will keep a battery at full charge out on the water. Including a booster pack on large lake outings is sage advice...- Love New Truck Day ~
My Corvette and Camaro have this feature. It's a blast to utilize! I had no idea GM incorporated it on the trucks. My engines are the LT1 variant making 455/455. Glad you're enjoying your new truck. Life is full enough of troubles and sometimes it's the small things that really help level it out. He doesn't keep his trucks long enough for this to pose a problem. As a lifelong GM owner I am very familiar with this issue. If it's gonna happen, lifter failure usually starts around the 100,000 mile mark. Some earlier depending on driving habits. I made it to 130,000 on my Pontiac G8 GT before it went out. A-Jay appears to be the type to enjoy his rides, yet not abuse them. I'm sure this truck will be long traded before the dreaded lifter failure issue sticks its ugly head up. I use the Range device that plugs into the OBD plug to "delete" the 4 cylinder mode. Seems to make a difference as I've not had any issues as of yet.- Stiffer Swim jig paddle trailers
