Have not fished the D Bomb, but my first experience with a jika rig was with the Rage Bug. Was pleasantly surprised with the success I had with it! I alternated it with a Sweet Beaver. They hit the bug, left beaver alone. It’s got to be the shape of the claws and how they move water.

Early last year I bought a Lhtose clip on cap light off Amazon. Used it a few times for early morning rigging and night fishing. It worked for a couple months, took a couple recharges, and then gave up the ghost. Piece of junk! Looking to get another light and was wondering if any off you have used the one pictured or have any other recommendations? Would like a clip on rather than a banded light. Thanks….Joe

I almost always take a DS when fishing club tourneys. It is rare when our boaters fish vertically with the DS, they mostly cast ahead. I will be thinking the Mojo option more from now on. Used to throw it a lot in the past, but got away from it.

Thanks for the pic. Have you tried stepping down to 4/0 or 3/0? Also with the centering pin, how about replacing them with Owner CPS. I like the gap, way better than the Owner Lights.

Hi All, While searching past posts this was mentioned several times as good for fishing toads on a weighted hook. I have not seen them personally, only online pics. They look similar to Owner Weighted Twistlock Lights which I do have. I have fished slimmer boot tails on the Owners, but not toads because the gap is pretty small for the Rage and Horny Toad baits. Will the VMC have a bigger gap and fit them better? Another hook I looked at is the Gamakatsu Weighted Superline Spring Lock. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Joe

I’ve seen you mention this color numerous times. Neon can come in a wide range of colors. Are you referring to a neon color accent that works in your waters like the chartreuse dip or something else.

I’ve fished chatterbaits but not often. My selection is a handful of Z-Man Customs. They have a straight wire looped line tie. Looking at other brands and even different models of Z-Man I see some have a snap as the line tie. What is the difference between the two and does one have an advantage over the other? Thanks….Joe

Try the Peoples Worm. Close in color without the red flake. Blood line is blue, not purple. Ran out of the Oxblood one day, tried the Peoples and fish hit it as well.
