I just sold my Shimano Lew's BB1 Speed Spool. It was still in great shape. Sort of miss it but the shorter handle on that original BB1 was short! I did catch one of my largest smallmouth on it and a matching Lew's rod using a Zorro Aggravator short arm spinnerbait in white/chartreuse (May, 2015).

How about the Steez XT for spybaits and jerkbaits?

Buy a Daiwa Alphas Air with the faster gear ratio. I got mine for $150 basically NIB and it's a really nice reel. Best wishes on the water!

So right now I have the three of these rods brand new with tags and am wondering what to keep and what (if any) to send back. Tatula 7' Medium Light Regular Casting (1/4-5/8) - (already have one of these that I use for jerkbaits/cranks with an SV103H but this is an extra) Cronos 7' Medium Light Regular Casting (1/4-5/8) Steez XT 7' Medium Regular Casting (1/8-1) These rods all have great actions and seem a little faster than the "regular" rating. What techniques would you use them for and what would you keep? Thanks and best wishes on the water!

That is actually a very good idea. I was hesitant to look up a home phone but I guess I could do that and also call. I am beyond bummed that folks would do this to other folks. I always try to be upfront and honest (and in the hundreds of transactions I have done on here and other sites) as it was how I was brought up. I spoke with someone else who also lost communication with him around the same time I did so I hope his health is okay. I guess I am just trying to justify why this would happen outside of just being dishonest. Thanks!

I have an original Steez rod as well...a 6'7" MH. I also have an AGS Elite in 7' M (which has the same specs as the XT I am getting). I have a few original Tatulas, and a few Cronos. I recently got a 7'3" MH Zillion on closeout that I have yet to use. I have way to much stuff. How does the Steez XT compare to the original Steez and/or the Zillion rods? Thanks!

Same handle length as the 7' Medium Regular model. I owned two. One I immediately returned because the tip of the blank was bent. The other I just returned as a change of mind. Of the whole line, my absolute favorite rod is the 7 ML casting rod.

How does it (the Air) compare to the Air Stream Custom?
