  3. i do, and pretty much already know what i am going to be tying on. just curious to see what others would do from an outside perspective as far as "finesse" goes.. jerkbait, jig are already tied on.
  4. jerkbait, wiggle wart, and a jig are already tied on ready to go ?
  5. Lunker City pro lite round jig head - they offer a 1/4 oz. 3/0 hook option
  6. early spring water temps in mid 40's. water clarity is pretty clear. northern lake has good smallmouth and good largemouth. grass, rock, wood all over. humps, extended points. pick THREE of these "finesse" techniques out of the following for your tournament day: ned rig hair jig keitech on ball head drop shot tube senko
  7. owner offset block head has been great for me when i wan't a "weedless" ned rig presentation
  8. i've done it before. cost is right around 24.99 to do so
  9. hello and welcome officially!
  10. i’ve used this bag for 4 years now as a tournament co-angler. you can fit five 3700’s easily.
  11. how do you like these rods?
  12. i own simms challenger bibs and jacket. they are both fantastic options especially for hard rain/long storms. i'll wear the bibs even if there is no forecast for rain on cooler mornings with pants underneath. if there is only forecast for light or temporary rain i'll bring a lighter columbia water resistent jacket.
  13. weightless senko topwater when it gets warmer
  14. the alberto knot has served me well.
  15. nope, and i never would. with any hard bait i'm looking for as many hook points as possibly to penetrate the fish even when they are just swiping at it.

they are definitely a great option and great alternative to other large online retailers. loads of selection for rods, reels, tackle, etc. shipping times seem to be on par with others

    those will get some bites!
  19. Great price for both of those rods
  20. breaker breaker one nine we got a biggun on a bed over here
  21. the carbonlite rod's by themself are decent, i can't speak much for the reel though. i'd stick with a daiwa, shimano reel if it were me.
  22. Daiwa Aird X ($55 msrp) and a Daiwa Fuego CT ($110 msrp) will fill your needs exceptionally well. Another option would be a Dobyns Colt series rod ($80 msrp) paired with an Abu Garcia Max STX ($80 msrp) casting reel. bonus points for matching colors!
