  1. Ok not to far apart then depending where in NY. What was water temp
  2. Hawgs!! Was this ashtabula ? Only asking as I live a few hours from Erie and only get to fish it on a big plan
  3. Manged to get two pictures resized correctly. I will try to lower it before the next time the boats out. I'm out with a pretty serious injury right now so it will be a while before Im running her
  4. Won't let me upload photos if someone has an easy way to do it I could send pictures. The TD is clear of any chines or rivet lines under the boat. Center of the TD is split by bottom edge of boat and TD is almost 3/4 of the way to the edge of the boat from the center of prop
  5. The photo above isn't mine. I'll mosey on out to the garage and have a look at the TD and report back
  6. Zona. He was this _ close to making it big. In the end I think he got the better end of the deal though. Steady checks in the mail his own show and gets to MC bassmasters events. Still gets the sponsorships with out as much risks. 50k a year in tournament entries is probably the biggest risk for a pro, next to buying the boat which you don't have to have a new one every single year even though they do. Then they have to pay fuel lodging etc... Although I'm sure theirs some help for these things from sponsors, someone like zona is likely having these things paid for by the outdoor channel or
  7. We regularly get big bellied bass like that on the lakes I fish around me in Ohio. What part of the start are you from
  8. This deffinately sounds like a fuel issue. Check your fuel line they break down from I side out. Also you primer bulb if you have one could be weak or just flat worn out also if you have quick release fittings on your motor like alot of outboards do check the o rings. Sometimes the biggest issues have the simplest solutions
  9. I understand it's just a charging system I was referring to the post about batteries moving towards lithium. Yes I know a little off topic butttttttt oh well
  10. When it comes to fishing i typically buy multiples of tackle to do well with like everyone else. I will give a few lures to young kids I see on the bank. Last year I had a day I was on a hot hot hot jig bite one summer day. When I pulled up to the ramp to pickup my buddy I seen a dad watching his young son probably 10-12 years old casting for bass. After talking with them for a minute and hearing he hadn't caught anything I gave him a brand new in the package the exact finesse jig I was using. The look in that kids eyes you would have thought ole bill dance handed him a piece of tackle. I try to do something like this for kids any chance I get.
  11. A girl I knew in school must have been a bass. Interpret that one how you choose
  12. I'm not a tree hugging hippie. But have you ever seen pictures of a lithium mine? Look them up, exact reason I shake my head when people think there electric car has less impact than a good ole gas engine
  13. My boat only runs 24 mph or so with me in it. I'll take a look at where the ducer is at and report back with some rough measurments or even a pic. I will also try to find the manual online or possibly even read the manual from my Helix 7
  14. I'm not sure how a shoot thru would work on an aluminum boat I will look into that. This is a 2d sonar as I have not yet upgraded to a SI graph at the console yet. I know this is a common issue with graphs you would sure think it would be easier to combat. And my transducer is almost all the way to the right side of the boat. I think I will do like suggested and try to get it as far away from motor and then level the transducer with the boat
  15. Not sure if title makes sense. But once my boat gets up around ten mph or so my graph goes all crazy Stops reading and give me crazy depths and what not. I know it's from the turbulence of the boat just wondering how to remedy the problem. Its an older humminbird unit
  16. Yeah man I live like 15 minutes from it I'm just down the road in Canton massillon area. Everytime I'm in there it gets awfully expensive. If he calls them they may have them ready to go back in stock or they could possibly even get them drop shipped from the MFG. Straight to him. I will probably be in the store again this week I'll have a look and see whats up
  17. If theirs bait shallow throw a frog. Just because it's called a frog does not meant that is the only thing it imitates.
  18. Fisherman's Central in Ohio has them in stock. Local store to me you can order online or possibly even by phone. Best C.S in the biz. If you call you will most likely speak with Adam or Danielle
  19. The clear megabass with 4 latches are excellent quality. And decently priced.
  20. Tube jigs and magnum worms.
  21. Spend your money on something else. Ive fished cheap frogs all the way up to frogs that cost so much you should get hit for paying it. The lunkerhunt frogs with the lifelike legs are junk
  22. Anchor or anchor pole you will be set. A fishing kayak is 100000 times better than a sit in
  23. Well that makes sense then. You could do like I did when I was a kid and hold them across the handlebars
  24. Why do you need a 2 piece rod? I'm a firm believer that 1 piece rod is way more sensitive than a 2 piece
  25. I fish black/red jigs all year. Very productive combo
