Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to tell us what you think of it! Like you I can't handle the thought of spending almost 2 grand on a kayak, it may be the most comfortable thing ever but still can't justify spending that much on one!

I also am from Ohio, I fish a lot down in Southeast Ohio at AEP Recreation Lands( used to be Ohio Power Ponds). The bigger fish down there are always stubby and fat.

Good advice! I for one have always been that way, as long as there isn't ice and it isn't lightning out and I have time to fish. That is exactly where I will be.

Just make sure you check if the state you live in allows the felt soles. I know some states up north here don't allow them because of transfer of things from stream to stream.

Depends on how early in the year I can start fishing, once the ice melts!

I actually live in East Canton right around the corner from Green Farms. Definitely a small world!

Awesome, how do you like the RS so far? My buddy just bought the 127 SS but when I seen that price tag I almost cried, I was looking at the RS myself. Little closer to my price range compared to the other one he got.

Mine would be a 3" stickworm with a 1/16 oz bullet weight texas rigged. My favorite way to catch them in the creek would be my fly rod though, not always the most productive though since I am still learning.

I have the SLX combo and for that price you said I would by a couple more if I needed more. I have only fished with it a few times because I just bought it over the winter, but so far it is very good. You getting a very nice rod and reel with that combo and saving money at the same time.
