@Joedodge Although the photo is a stock Cabelas/BPS photo I purchased my “kit” at my local Wal-Mart, although that was some time ago and my local store hasn’t restocked them as far as I can tell.

I went for something a bit closer to home last night and enjoyed some Corona’s which paired well with the tacos the wife and I made😉

Although I really like my Daiwa’s I’m definitely into trying alternative brands as well and have a few different brands. That said I agree with @Bigbox99 in getting parts and had a positive experience when I cracked the nose piece on a Piscifun Saex Elite which is identical to the Ardent Apex Elite and after contacting Ardent they sent the nose piece for free even when I offered to pay for the part. Although I didn’t need internal parts I’m pretty sure they are identical reels internally as well.

Don’t give up on shallow cranks such as the Strike King 1.0 square bills or even the Creme tiny lipless crank baits that weigh 1/10th of an ounce. They produce well in my experience on a small retention pond with quite a bit of fishing pressure.

Agreed😬 If this were 3-1/2 years from now and my youngest was done with college I’d be seriously interested in this. And yes I built the deck on my previous house which I unfortunately don’t have a picture of🙁 but I was a carpenter for a bit.

Although I really like all of your posts I think I have to throw my red challenge flag here🤔 After doing a little research as I’m always interested in looking into all things beer, after a “wee” bit of research it appears the beer you’re referencing is a “Scottish Ale” and not a “British Ale” 😬

I can only think of 2 English Ales and those are Bass Ale and Newcastle Brown Ale🤔 I personally would grab the Bass Ale but hey that’s just me.

I will say I thought Seattle was done after Darnold threw the second interception.

Although not a lot of on water experience’s it sounds like the 6’-9” is quite popular. I couldn’t agree more with the white and gold color combo and although not the only reason it definitely helped me decide to sell my casting combo. I’m down to a white Lews TP1 rod which at least has black wrapping and a Carbonlite 2.0 spinning combo as of now.

@Scott F I don’t mean to pry but I’ve never heard of a personal pontoon, is this what you’re referring to?
