Need help
My best guess is there would be a liability issue for the boater to take someone of your age in a tournament. You may have to wait a few years unless there are fishing teams it the high schools in your area.

SW Missouri fishing report
I fished Stockton on the 19th in the afternoon. I was using elaztech worms on a new “leggy” jig that I am working on. I had 14 but had lots of bumps that wouldn’t take it. All of the fish were roof hooked. They ranged from 4.5 down. The best 5 totaled 14.5 #.

Powering bow-mounted electronics
Your best bet for wiring modern electronics is to run dedicated wires from the unit directly to the engine cranking battery. I’d use 10 gauge wire with the factory fuses that came with the unit.

Trolling motor battery recommendations sought
First off congrats on your purchases. You can go many ways with all that you have. I imagine that your 45# trolling motor will do you a good job. When you are looking at batteries the most important factor for a deep cycle to be used on a trolling motor is RC (reserve capacity) not amp hours. Get the highest that you can, preferably something around 200 RC. You shouldn’t need 2 of them unless you plan long days or trolling. You mentioned hooking 2 in series. Don’t do that. You would have 24 volts and ruin your trolling motor. You would have to hook them parallel. I would run some 8 gauge wires instead of jumper cables.

Storing Soft Plastics. To bag or box....
I make most of my own so there is no bag. In their own bags Elaztech baits got flat and stuck to each other so they go in boxes also.

Braid on baitcaster
I’ve never had any line that light on my bait casters. I use 50#. If you go that light again I suggest that you tighten your spool for a while.

spinnerbait rods
I use 7’ mh rods for spinner baits. I have 4 that will work but rarely rig up more than 2.

$12,500 budget - what to look for?
Be patient. A friend of mine just bought a garage kept 2000 Ranger that looks and runs great. It has a MK troller and a 200 XR6. He gave $11,000 for it.

You might want to consider craft hair. It is easier to work with than maribou.

Morning Fishing, Avoiding Wind
I love fishing during the time just before dawn when sunrise is still way off but I have to leave home by 04:30 to do it. Spinner baits and buzz baits until the sun gets bright are my go to baits.

Towing Tin Rigs
The big deal is not towing it is stopping. My wife pulled my Champion 206 to South Texas several times with a Ford Winstar mini van. There was no problem. However, the trailer had brakes.

trailer question
First thing I would do is jack up a wheel and give it a spin. If it spins freely and quietly move to the other one. If both are quite I would not worry. If there is any noise either replace the bearings or hire someone to do it. You can find videos on how to do it. If you have to replace then do both sides with bearings and races.
