Bearings and other parts upgrades
I did the upgrade and could not tell much difference. I got more by super tuning my reels.

Umbrella Rig
I have several and use them quite a bit but in December through March not now.

Talon or Power Pole
To get the most they need to match the depth finders. Power poles..... Lowrance. Talons.....Humminbird.

I don't know
I had a bronco. That thing doesn’t even resemble a bronco.

In what application(s), would you need a reel with 8.1:1 gear ratio?
I use 7s and 8s for everything except Arigs, then 5s.

Bhn hardness for jig heads
I have used a lot of different hardnesses of lead. Printer’s lead is one of my favorites. I have never been able to tell any difference in feel. The difference is in durability. Most of my lead contains antimony and is a lot harder than plumbers lead. It is harder to pour than soft lead but Frankfort Arsenal Drop Out spray solved that issue.

Swinging / Articulating Jig Head Weights ?

How Many set Ups And Combo You Have?
I’m not sure how many total setups I have. Right now I am carrying 20 in the boat, 10 bait casters and 10 spinning though I can’t use the spinning because I can’t grip the rods with my right hand. I am awaiting surgery in 3 weeks to correct the situation. I don’t have a go to as that depends what I plan to do. Lately that has been shaky. My favorite shaky is a Curado 70 on a 7.5’ All Pro Atlantis rod with 12# fc.

Minn kota edge battery?
The size will depend on how you use it. I recommend size 27 or larger. Be sure it is a deep cycle not a cranking battery. Reserve capacity is the key to how long it will last on a trip.

I’d love a new truck, but...
My backup truck is a 2001 Chevy 2500. It is backup for three generations and gets about 1000 miles per year. I bought it 20 years ago and have no plans to replace it.

Elbow Fatigue
I got it playing golf 7 days a week. The best thing I could find was a band around my arm just below the elbow.

Deep or Shallow, how do you decide?
It depends on how early I get on the water. If real early I use a spinner bait and fish shallow. Otherwise I set out in deep water, cast toward shallow and fish back to deep trying to get bites and determine the depth range.

Water spots
I use hydrochloric acid on my motor. The cheapest is toilet bowl cleaner. I normally use Purekleen.

Replacing my cranking battery
Lithium may not work with a charger of that age. If not then the North Star X2 is probably your best choice. Batteries +bulbs carries it under their label. That is what I had to go to to make it all day.

Glow in the dark tape and marker buoys
Yes I have and it worked.

Manually closing spinning reel bail
You can become quite accurate by feathering the line with the off hand and manually closing the bail.
-
What line should I have on my baitcaster?
I like 12-15 fluorocarbon on my bait casters.

Squirrel at 43.9 yards with BB gun
Way to go sir. I haven’t used mine in years. It came with no sights. I taught my grandson how to shoot instinctively. I may have done it too well. He turned out to be a swat sniper.

Need help with stern light
Don’t know about that but most stern light malfunctioning is some type of corrosion instead of a bad bulb. Are you sure the bulb is bad.
