  1. Again…. I was being sarcastic. I need sarcasm font lol
  2. lol I was being sarcastic
  3. Crazy how so many rookies are doing so incredible was just thinking about that. Any thoughts on how all the rookies to the tour are surpassing the established anglers? So weird. I’ve looked back at the history of bass and it was never like this. Curious what you all think.
  4. He really has that ffs dialed in gotta give him credit.
  5. I’m6’4 220 own a pelican pedal kayak. I stand up to stretch my legs. Kayak seems very stable but I have just felt sitting down pedaling into the wind/current to be my jam. Very stable kayak but the only time I really stand up is when I want to see the milfoil I’m pitching in.
  6. My favorite Seth Feider in 48th place with nearly 21 lb bag lol. What a fishery
  7. Doesn’t mlf give a penalty for bass hitting the deck?Maybe I’m wrong. Been quite a while since I watched mlf. Prefer the Bassmaster format for the most part.
  8. Decent shot at a century belt here.
  9. Taku seems like such a good dude lol i love his quote “smallmouth love Taku” lol
  10. The rookie class this year are all doing amazing.
  11. On the one situation you described… here in Minnesota which obviously relates to you I’ve caught my biggest bass on a half ounce jig with a rage craw trailer (I’m sure many other trailers would do at least as good) on the deeper weed lines. Really shines in the fall as the healthy weeds are typically only in deeper water. I cast it out and stroke it. Good luck on your tournament season!
  12. He had a bad moment…. I’ve had several and luckily people have given me another chance based on the whole picture. Not going to respond again and I don’t mean to argue just providing a different perspective
  13. Not just your post but several in this thread… Ike also spends a lot of time working with kids “Ike foundation “ and all the videos I see with his son are very cool. He has had bad moments and very passionate people from my 50 years of life experience tend to have higher highs and lower lows… maybe we should look at the entirety of his impact on people and fishing.
  14. The waves had it looking like Deadliest catch out there! Lots of good anglers definitely in the mix.
  15. Wrb I like how well rounded you are and thanks for all the info
  16. I’ve asked around and the pike in my neck of the woods want a crack at it… no steel leaders fellas that’s cheating An swaver 168 will catch as much… more fish have been caught on a wacky and more and bigger fish have been caught on the simple but amazing “jig”
  17. I think just confidence in how you fish may matter the most.
  18. Go Seth! Love watching him fish and I’m from Minnesota so… yeah I’m a homer.
  19. Thanks all. As far as the wind goes Kansas is less than a mile per hour more than Minnesota on average. I too was somewhat surprised but seems every day is windy in Minnesota so was not shocked and was the main reason I upgraded to a pedal kayak.
  20. I live in Minnesota and I’ve had good success in coontail. Seems especially good when it’s mixed in with other types of vegetation. In the fall on a couple lakes I fish the deeper coontail is the last healthy green vegetation and then it’s really good.
  21. Thanks for the responses. I live in Minnesota I feel it’s windy here basically every day anyways lol
  22. I always use snaps on crankbaits. Zero issues.
  23. Must be a barren wasteland lol
  24. Just curious if a pedal kayaker would have some decent options for bass fishing near Wichita. Possible job opportunity could land me there and I’ve never been to Kansas. Thank you.
  25. How the heck does that thing still float? lol I carry between 3-6 in my kayak and when I have six I have had some strange looks from more casual anglers lol
