Act fast people - there's only four silver trout left! At 16", I can't see this ever being used for typical bass fishing.

Mighty fine swim bait there you think. I bet it will be a super fish catcher? Lol. I would have to have scuba gear with me in case of a snag. But one question.... What if a fish broke it off during a retrive. I think I will stay with 15.00 jerkbaits. IMHO

Was watching a video from a guy reviewing a tackle store in Japan recently, that same bait in Japan is about $550, still a crazy amount for a bait.

There's a level of unique exactment that comes with fishing expensive baits, both in terms of potentially losing a couple hundred bucks, but equally catching a fish on a couple hundred dollar lure.   To me it just takes the excitement level up a notch.  I don't think a $1000 swimbait is any better at catching fish than a $150-200 bait.

Most handmade high end swimbaits range from $150-250.  If you have to spend more than that, you're just paying an exclusivity tax.

I’ve asked around and the pike in my neck of the woods want a crack at it… no steel leaders fellas that’s cheating

An swaver 168 will catch as much… more fish have been caught on a wacky and more and bigger fish have been caught on the simple but amazing “jig”

I heard if you buy that swimbait Chuck Norris appears out of thin air, jumps out of your bass boat and just telepathically pushes the heaviest bass in the lake right into your boat out of sheer willpower. If you try to throw them back into the water they will just keep trying to jump back into your boat.

Also...I didn't event look at the link and would never pay that much for a fish lure...unless it was some sort of collectable and I knew for a fact there was some other idiot out there that was ready to pay more for it than I just paid.

The $1000 bait is carved in wood. The plastic version is $499

OK so after clicking the link and carefully evaluating that lure and my stance on it I would argue that you could spend that money on TWO St. Croix Legend Xtreme Spinning Rods or the new Dobyns Xtasy rods ALF just posted about and catch more fish in one day with those than you will in your life with that lure. As an aside I will say it was nice of them to come out with that red looking lure underneath it which seems like it would match the color of your wife's face when she sees your credit card bill after you bought that thing...that one seems heavily discounted but still not something I would buy pretty much ever.

I would really like to buy all remaining stock.

But sadly they aren't expensive enough....

I dont want those pike bullying me for being poor, so ill have to pass on this one!

Let me know if anyone has a swimbait that costs half a current mortgage (or twice a used car), thanks.

You guys are thinking about this all wrong.

It’s only $68.75 per inch or $50 an ounce.

No joke guys, it's for real:  https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpage-RMMCHSB.html

And discuss....

JDM Swimbait culture has devolved into artificial scarcity + hypebeast culture limited releases and/or raffle releases = brainrot prices.  The worst offenders are DRT, Roman Made etc.  The 2nd hand market flip prices of used DRT rods will actually give you a headache.  Retail was like 1/8th of this.  IMG_6737.png.ccf4c69bf321ef551631b3cd24717050.png

Funny thing is roman made also offers a rod specifically designed for that bait……and the rod is significantly cheaper than the bait (still doesn’t mean the rod cheap by any means it’s up there with the other jdm flagships)

One question

How many toothpicks can one of those musky make out of it. I don't have those around I think. But a bowfin can destroy a old devil's horse with one attempt
