  1. This whole O-ring thing. Man it confusing, a real head scratcher. This is what I do: Take hook put through worm, cast, catch fish.
  2. I call this catching bait.?
  3. A ten, I see your Apalachee Don and raise you some Pine box Boys,
  4. Comes with J-braid and a crankbait. Available in 8.1 and 6.3-1 https://north40.com/daiwa-fuego-ct-bait-casting-reel#horizontalTab
  5. Tom, please forgive my plastic bait nomenclature ignorance! I stand corrected! But wait! If one was to look closely at the baits pictured, one would see LEECH printed on the baits in question.
  6. Google has let me down, Anybody know where I can find baits similar to the two pictured on the left?
  7. The Washington capitulators
  8. Fake, its a fake reel. Very smart people say its fake, so its fake. So so fake its egregious. MRGA!
  9. Hate to be the one, " Largemouth bass have excellent night vision. The fish's eyes have much denser sets of light-gathering rods than do human eyes. It would seem that nature has equipped bass properly to feed at night as well as during the day. Do not think that because you can't see at night that the bass can't either. Their low-light vision is far superior to ours, plus they use other sensory organs such as their lateral line to locate and consume prey." https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/nightfishing1.html
  10. Fury line are fantastic for reaction baits where sensitivity is less of a need, Sierra gets the nod for worms, jigs and bottom contact.
  11. A daiwa tatula sv, is my high end reel. I'm going the other direction now, I bought a few Tatula 100's and love them, but Fuegos do the same for less money. Money that I am now spending where I feel it's best spent, on rods.
  12. Is year number four the "year" or will he get a fifth?
  13. My Fuego CT arrived today, on time, from North40. And as promised it came with a crankbait (Evergreen WH-3 in fire craw) and a spool of J-braid x4 40lb. 88.00 Bucks not to shabby at all.
  14. One smooth fluid motion. Shouldn't be any slack.
  15. Sorry didnt mean to toot my own horn, GReb posted about them on the first page of this thread.
  16. They dont fear me....Yet!
  17. That Sucks. I took a chance with North40, tracking info says this coming Tuesday. They even throw in a North40 decal! 88.99 TMD.
  18. I dont fish a T-rig often but when I do its on a M/H or H. Take a look at an Fr 703c which is a M/H, Dobyns are known to fish a little lighter than there ratings. I know that my Vendettas are broom sticks by comparison.
  19. 106 today, water temp? But Likely pretty high. Today Ned=nothing, wacky worm=nada, didnt want swimbait, didn't want a crankbait. Jerkbaits to the rescue, couple of nice smallies. Now for the jerkabait to work I had to switch colors several times and I had to really work the bait hard and fast. My go to perch pattern had followers as did shad pattern, tied on a silver bait same result. Clown got'em to commit and dude down the canal got them to bite on a pink fluke. Rule of thumb will let you down when they are being difficult, have to stay flexible. Sometimes the stupidest thing will get you bit when the book says otherwise.
  20. I dont think this support thread is enough for you, you need in-patient treatment.
