My son accidentally closed the door on my tatula last week. I ordered a Daiwa KAGE and I’m definitely impressed I would definitely recommend it over the tatula. I know it’s still a X45 blank but it’s a little bit more sensitive. I will definitely be adding a few more KAGE’s to my lineup.

I’ll check them out thanks but I did just buy 5 new ones hopefully they last the year.

One that will last longer than a full season of catching fish. It seems to me that I find myself bending the wire back after a fish and after a while the wire will just break. But I usually throw Strike King. And Stan Sloan. I haven’t Had a Sloan break on me yet.

I use seagar red label and don’t have any issues with backlashes. And it’s cheap line

I can feel that and I use mono on my jerkbait reel.

My 10e came with a big cut in the rub rail and kept getting worse. Pelican sent me a new rub rail. But when I installed it the corner’s don’t look as good as it did from the factory.

It will definitely work it might not come through weeds as good tho.

I prefer a medium fast for jerkbaits I use a tatula 7’ medium

I just feel the elite rod doesn’t have the back bone I prefer for single hook baits. Definitely doesn’t feel like a true mh rod to me.

Following I need a new spinnerbait rod as well I’ve been using a tatula elite 7’3 mh multi purpose and I don’t like it. I mainly throw 1/2 oz spinnerbaits

I think the geary feel varies form reel to reel my buddy had a 2017 SV 6.4 and I have a 6.4 we bought them at the same time and place his felt like crap and he sent it to daiwa. But mine was and still is as smooth as butter. He sold all his SV’s because of that experience.

I definitely have more success on other colors. Red is my least productive.
