You want a good cheap wake bait get a spro rat in 30-40 size. I prefer the 50 but that takes a bigger rod.

I use a Lews super duty wide spool for that size swim baits and it’s been flawless. Much nicer than the Cardiff I used to use. But I prefer low profile reels over round reels. Lews quality to me is great I clean and maintain my reels yearly and never had any issues.

I got a vision 110 snagged a couple weeks ago. I was using 10lb suffix seige. With a slow pull I was trying to straighten the hook. But actually pulled in a small Christmas tree. I was amazed at the strength of the line.

Yes I own one Kage it’s the 7’3 all around spinning rod. It’s fantastic I also own tatulas and one tatula elite. I will be buying the 7’4 H Kage next.

I have a couple tatula sv’s both are smooth. But my buddy got a couple and they were horrible. He sent one back to be cleaned got it back a no better than before. He ended up selling them cheap and went with Lews super duty’s.

Nope always change settings for baits. That’s why I try to have a set up for each bait I’m throwing.

I like a 6 maximum for my spinnerbaits I like bigger blades and higher gear ratios will be harder to pull. I like a 7 for t- rigs

No I just prefer a spinning rod sometimes.
