Out of the 2 I prefer the Yamamoto. But I get bulk stick worms off eBay I like most.

The 7’3 Ehrler is a nice rod I’ve used it for 1/2 oz spinner baits to 1/2 oz lipless baits. I have it paired with a 2017 tatula Sv.

I use regular fluorocarbon or mono for my leader.

I changed most of my reels to mono I’ve really been liking Suffix Seige.

I’ve had great luck with my cabellas chest waders. I purchased them 8 years ago and they are still good. These are the insulated ones for cold weather. They were just under 300 bucks but well worth it. You probably won’t get the same quality since bass pro took over.

Absolutely I use a slow retrieve a yo yo retrieve a rip and drop. Let the fish tell you but vary it up till you get one. I will throw a lipless until it’s to weedy. Try to find green weeds I basically just fan cast from the bank. Fish from ice out sometimes there is still some ice on the pond.

You could tighten up the cast control knob and take all the side to side play out. That might help you out.

All depends on baits your trolling if I’m trolling small flicker shads I use a med moderate rod. So I don’t pull the hooks

I use a Duracell size 31 deep cycle and fish all day with my 55lb thrust endura max.

Fish those baby bullshads with a stop and go throw in some twitches. I caught a few over 4lbs on them this past fall/summer.
