I called pelican yesterday and they said that bass pro was getting a very large shipment by the end of the month to the whearhouse . My boat is being shipped to the store bass pro would not ship it to my house.

The 30 is tiny in comparison.

Size for me I've caught plenty of small bass in my life. But I prefer to target large fish. I’d rather catch one 5 lbr over 20 1 lbr s.

Exactly what I bought except I got the endura max 55.

I’ll start going out at night starting next week. I usually go from midnight till about 7am I get the good night bite and morning top water bite.

Daiwa arid x is a nice rod for the money.

I bought the 7’3 mh arid x it’s more of a moderate I think I like it but I think the 7 heavy would have been better.

It works my buddy has one on his trailer.

You need one of these.

You want a good cheap rod for the shellcracker. I use a bass pro cranking stick 7’3 heavy rated up to 2oz with I think the perfect action for the bait.And it’s on sale right now

One thing to try is to set your depth. Take the unit off auto and set it to the maximum that you will be in. You can also try to reset to factory default. And try saltwater mode. See if any of that helps.

If I was you I would go with a 24volt trolling motor at the bow 75-80 lb thrust. It’s easier to pull the boat than push it for the motor.
