My Lews bb1 cast’s farther than my buddy’s dc actually most of my Lews cast farther I guess it’s just how I can set up and cast my reels. And how he sets his reel up. And I rarely back lash. So I don’t see a need to use a digital reel.

It’s not a st Croix but the Daiwa tatula elite 7’3 multi purpose is a perfect rod to do it all.

I use 10lb suffix 832 hi viz yellow and a 8lb copoly leader .

OG Tatula 7’4 frog rod is what I use and love it.

I can cast a un weighted senko pretty far with a baitcaster. But I prefer to use my spinning rod with hi viz braid to leader.

My problem is I maintain my reels and still buy more. My son told me today I have to many I told him you never have to many rods and reels.

The motor should pee as soon as it starts. Make sure your pee hole is not plugged and your hose is connected to pee hole.

I ordered a rod from them it came in a weak square box but the rod was fine.

All dialed in I removed and flushed and relubed the bearings last night. Went out today for a few hours and after about 5 minutes everything came together.

My thumb is very educated ive been using baitcasters for 30 years. Previously I was using a bb1 with no problems I switched to this reel for a different gear ratio.

3 brakes on spool tension has just barely side to side play. I’m sure it’s just the dam bait when it goes straight it flies.But when it tumbles it over runs.

Man I’m having a hell of a time dialing in this reel for my buzzbait. The dual brake is throwing me off I’m used to centrifugal or magnetic not both lol.
