  1. I’m in southern Wisconsin Water is mid to high 40s .I was using a 1/2 oz casting jig with a yum craw trailer black&blue.
  2. I did mine at the boat launch brought everything with me took less than 5 minutes.
  3. All fish have to eat I’ve been catching fish since ice out on jerkbaits jigs and lipless cranks. But 90% have been on lipless cranks. I cover water until I find fresh green weeds then I fish those areas trying different colors and retrieves until I catch one then repeat.
  4. Does anyone have both of these rods a buddy is trying to decide between the two. Looking for opinions on both rods. Thanks
  5. I use a OG Tatula 7’6 flipping rod with a 8.1 Tatula sv 50lb 832. Absolutely love it.
  6. I had a bill fall off I blame myself for slapping it on the water to get the weeds off.
  7. What you want is the Okuma nomad x press travel swimbait rod. It’s 4 pieces I carry it right on the plane. There are 2 options I have the Heavy 1-4 oz and it will throw 8” bullshad’s just fine.
  8. My buzzbait rod is a 7’ m/h moderate
  9. I don’t think it’s gross I’ll wipe my hands on my pants and eat a sandwich right afterwords.
  10. I have the 7’3 medium heavy multi Purpose. It’s a great rod.
  11. The best all around rod I’ve bought in a long time is the Daiwa Tatula elite 7’3 multi purpose Brent Ahler.
  12. Does this happen when regular casting or are you backlashing and the spool comes to a hard stop
  13. Almost have to throw it on a 5.1 I use a 6.4 and reel extremely slow.
  14. The Jackall Ganteral jr. Is a good bait I’ve caught some good fish on them. I like the ghost gill.
  15. Agree on the G2 Shellcracker. He isn’t going to get a bull gill for 30 bucks.
  16. I love my bb1s regular and pros you can get one off eBay for $113 or a bb1 pro for $130 my buddy just got one of each.
  17. I love my tatula SV reels they are smooth as silk and very consistent casters they don’t cast as far as non sv reels but they are very nice.
  18. I put a stock spool shaft bearing on it and it’s definitely much better. But working my jerkbait the yo Zuri feels like a rubber band Compared to the fluorocarbon so I’m going back to fluorocarbon.
  19. Nope I’ve been fishing all month I’m pretty sure my spool shaft bearing has some crap in it need to soak it in lighter fluid instead of alcohol.
