  1. I usually un plug my trolling motor but if you can’t I would recommend unplugging your charger in thunder storms lightning can fry your trolling motor just to be safe.
  2. The little rubber piece that goes on the bottom Of the reel tightening screw fell of my tatula spinning rod I need to glue it back on.
  3. Manns baby -1 is a awesome little bait.
  4. This would be my recommendation also.
  5. Out of the 3 the Fuego is a awesome reel I really don’t like the Lews spinning reel I bought my wife.
  6. I use the original 7’4 frog rod also and love it.
  7. I feel the ipt of a 6.4 is perfect because. It just feels right for me. When I’m throwing a big Colorado blade spinnerbait or deep cranking it seems to have the Perfect power/ torque Ratio. With other baits You can speed up slightly or slow it down. Again this is my personal opinion. I have other ratio reels but most are 6.4 also something else I will add when using a higher ratio for chatterbait and spinnerbait I seem to get less fish compared to the 6.4. I think it just moves the bait to fast. Again my personal opinion based on 25 years of throwing casting reels.
  8. You can take a file and file the lead down some.
  9. Give suffix siege a try.
  10. I have the 7’2 heavy and 7’4 heavy frog. They are the original ones. My opinion is the 7’4 all the way out of the two. The 7’2 is my jig rod and the 7’4 is my frog rod but it was also my gig and big spinnerbait rod before I found the 7’2. I wish I had found the 7’4 but I couldn’t find one I like the original ones.
  11. Keep a eye on market place my buddy picked up a 8 footer sun dolphin with a trailer and trolling motor for 4 hundo!
  12. Just tell the wife to be quiet Lol.
  13. About 25 years ago I went to a farm pond in southern Illinois. My first cast with a buzzbait on a cold spring morning I got a huge blowup. I set the hook as hard as I could but my drag was backed off from winter. The fish came up and threw the lure that bass was every bit of 10 lbs. I can still play it back in my head like it was yesterday.
  14. I agree my biggest 5 fish this year came on a black 1/2 oz buzzbait.
  15. My best drop shot bait is a 1/2 of night crawler. You’ll catch everything!
  16. I really like my Dobyns fury 795 sb up to 3.5 oz.
  17. Great reel for slow rolling a Colorado blade spinnerbait and for wake bait’s.
  18. I catch them on 3/8 oz green pumpkin jigs with a craw trailer. Use natural colors. Also live bluegills under a bobber works great for big fish.
  19. Just take a file and file down the lead head on the buzzbait.the buzz frogs and toads will add enough weight. But it will work just fine the way you’re talking about.
  20. I don’t think so I wade in the lake by my house. And once you get to the area you’re wanting to fish just be still. I’ve caught fish 5 feet away from myself before.
  21. My brand new boat has a small chunk out of the rub guard. Exposing the seam fo the boat kind of ticked. Hopefully it won’t let water in between the two sections. I already sent pelican a email and picture. I can’t upload a picture here since every time I try it says it’s to big.
  22. You can check your order # mine said it was shipping. And a few days later I got a email saying my order is ready for pick up. But I did pick up at store. I did not have it shipped to my house.
