We all have our days when we either get skunked or catch dinks.......just part of fishing. What keeps us going back for more is knowing the next cast may be the fish of a lifetime...........you just never know. The more there is a hook in the water, the better the chance of catching. No fish, little fish or the fish of a lifetime...........I look forward to the next cast..........

It's called WATERPROOF Although I have seen times that it didn't work.......... Now if I could just figure out where the deer ticks and chiggers came from???? ;D I know where they ended up............

Have you been in a Bass Pro Shop lately? The place is full of young guys with their girlfriends. It looks like a pretty hot date place to me. Most of the ladies, though, seem to have the same look on their face as I do when SWMBO drags me to Bed, Bath and Beyond. REMEMBER.........there are a few rare females around that would much rather go to BPS than to BBY! Now, we have our priorities in line

Joe and I headed out on the lake for our usual mid week fishin trip.....temps had dropped into the 80's a much needed relief. We'd been fishing for about 20 minutes and I had only caught a little warmouth...... There was only one other boat on the lake that we could see........and that happened to be my ex-husband.......I should have known the evening was going to head south right then........... When I looked up over the massive tree tops all I could see was dark gray and black....No thunder, no wind, no lightening........I told Joe to quickly put stuff up........We HAD to ride! He looked up and said......" it won't last long, lets just move and stay awhile". I knew better but no, I had to listen to him for once....(bad timing to start)........ We cranked up and ran across the bay to a little cove......within 2 minutes Blood River looked like coconut pie with 2-3 ft meringue. The wind had come from no where. There was thunder and lightening.......time to ditch the "Toucan". We headed for the bank. For the next 50 minutes, we stood there......I was laughing so hard......Couldn't have seen tears at this point anyway so what was the use ;D Anyway, pardon the poor quality pics........This is the direct result.......... of this! At this point I make a note to self............."Self, after 40 yrs of having Ky Lake as your front yard....listen to yourself!" Dad taught me better....... Had to come home and get a shower just to get dryer........ and yes, I was still laughing...... Squirrels...........gotta love 'em.....

Actually, it's 95 outside and I've got a cup of coffee....First morning cup has a little milk then I'm trying to switch to black.............I gave up almost a month ago......next......chocolate..........NOT!

I wore my MOOK(ette) shirt to town today for the first time......... I made 3 stops......Office Depot, USPS and a quick trip in Walmart............... : 8 times (yes, I kept count) I was asked.......... "deb, What the heck is a MOOK?........." All I could do was smile ( grin is more accurate) and explain...........A MOOK is simply a squirrel that bass fishes..............NOW you know........ MOOKS prepare to unite........and spread the word! Hey Muddy and Zel..........have you got the Christmas design ready yet????

Guys, It's time I say something......serious........ First I want to say thanks for welcoming me on the site.......I'd be totally lost without it. The knowledge contained here is truly amazing and I'm learning a lot. The comradary is that of some very close friends.....we all have an enjoyment of bass fishing. We also laugh, joke, cut up, cut down, and tease.............that is where I need to apologize........ You guys put up with me a lot of hours.....too many probably....... As one of the only females here........I'm unique........I love people. I love to laugh. I love to bass fish. I do enjoy the attention.......but it's gotten a little out of hand..... Competely my fault! I've encouraged it. I'm alone a lot and it's good to fill that void.....I've wanted your respect, this is not the way to earn it........I'm sorry! I don't want to tick anyone off, or to hurt anyone's feelings......I am a married woman, I love one man......It's time I started acting like it! I'll still be around, I'm still gonna post some pics, I'm still gonna kid and cut up........BUT that is where it's gonna stop......There are a few of you I've gotten close to......I don't want that to change. I have got to change.........I've got to tone things down. I've caused pain...and that is the last thing I want to do! :'( Thanks again guys for puttin up with me! deb

Hey................that water looks familiar to me ............... It was beautiful out there Saturday! and yesterday........Joe and I did ok Sat. Joe did good yesterday.........he had 5, I only had 2 tiny little dinks....... For the weekend......we ended with 27, I think.... It'll be good, when and if we ever get some rain and cooler temps............I'm hoping for a great fall bite.................of course, I'm always lookin for the great bite... You know as well as or better than I do...........IT's gonna get BETTER

Lookin like it'll me mine alone next Saturday. Joe will be puttin the metal roof on. My son Justin is coming over to help him. It's supposed to cool down into the 80's. Think it'll be a good morning to leave the dog and spouse at home and have a quiet morning on the water........ It's time..it has been a while....Pause, reflect, remember, smile........go forward

Thanks file mob......I don't fish everyday, right now it's too hot. I'm averaging 5 days a week with 2-3 days I'm out twice, very early morning then couple of hours in the evening.... When it cools off some around here, I'll go about every morning...My husband drives a semi. I drive a bass boat I go out when he's on the road too......I like to fish with someone but........if you count me, myself and I....it's a party ;D

Good central location, great fishing (my biggest bass this year was caught 3/24) plenty of boat rentals, abundance of rooms available and best of all..........I'm here! ;D Guys........you really don't think I'd let Avid and Jason run me off do you?????? I don't scare that easily.........besides somebody's gotta stir things up around here
