We finally made it back on the water this morning...Launched at 5:20...it was 80 degrees. Surface water temp was 88.6 We caught a few little ones but at least we were out there.... Here's the best of the rest.................caught just before 6 am.... It certainly wasn't huge but it was fun! Look out in the morning....planned launch 5AM, if I can convince my husband to get out of bed that early ;D

Yes, she was..............for being with a jerk like that!......or scared to death....Spousal abuse is NO laughing matter. Screaming and yelling in public, hitting or worse in private.................been there, done that. NO ONE deserves to be treated like that, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! Male or female, it happens to both. I hope she gets out before it's too late............It takes strength, determination and a strong will to live to take that step and to keep looking forward..............................I hope she and all the others out there find that courage........................

Dan You're a tougher man than me....ok, so I'm not a man but you know what I mean ;D I stand here looking out the front door at KY Lake, wishing, dreaming, thinkin..... I step outside....not no but heck no! It's now down to 99 at 6pm. Think I hear the swimming pool calling.......mookette.....mookette.....mookette Maybe the bass will be there early Sat morning.....

Out of the kindness of my heart, I take a fellow out and show him the area...put him on fish and beat him out of the back of his boat. ;D... Ain't that just like a man, show him your secret spots and a few days later, he comes back and takes advantage of ya. That trip down south is lookin better all the time. Way to go! Think my fishin's over for a week or so. Temps are supposed to hit 100 all week. deb

As a few of you know, yesterday was my bday. I was up at 3:30 to go fishing. (imagine that) It was a tough day, fish wise. They just didn't want to cooperate. Caught 3. Went back out yesterday evening. We were fishing along a bank when a momma and baby coon came down to the water. They were so pretty. I was way to busy watching now to fish. They followed us at least a half mile down the bank. Didn't even seem to mind Chewy, the fishing dog. They passed up several deceased fish on the bank and continued to follow. Of course I was taking pics and was just amazed. I'd raised a baby coon yrs ago and she was released close to there. Wonder if it was Paws? After a while, I couldn't stand it. I remembered I had some pb & crackers in the boat. I headed to the bank....Momma was watching close and headed towards us..Baby was more cautious. I got to the bank and opened the crackers and gently pitched them towards them. About that time, Chewy barked and baby took off. Not momma. I was within 4 ft of her. She was so beautiful. Finally I stopped coon watching and went back to fishing...Here's the first one... Then another... Ok so they weren't huge or even big but there's always tomorrow.................
