I had problems yesterday. Kept getting a "server error". Have had no problems today, except it's been much quicker than usual Oh Avid, question...How long did it take you to find that lost treasure??? Just wondering how long I need to plan on playing those numbers? Of course, when I (we) win, I'll have to deduct the amount I've spent for tickets, plus interest, plus of course the handling charges. That should leave you with enough to send me a thank you note! ;D ;D Hope you're doing good and at least thinking bout catching bass 8-) 8-) deb
  5. Mine is a tie, 5#9oz. Here's pics... This one was caught March 24th. This one was caught May 7th. This one was a much prettier fish! About 1 1/2 in shorter than the first. both were caught in Blood River on Kentucky Lake, about a mile apart. Ok, after looking at them again...They were both beautiful fish and should still be out there waiting to give someone else a big thrill!

  13. Welcome Jeremy! Skunks happen to most of us, even tho not all will admit it. It's part of fishing. :'( Just like back lashes (excuse me professional overthrows) The more you fish, the more you learn. Every cast. I can't help much on lures, the guys have covered most of what I use. Be sure you have some Senko's, I'd never used them until a few weeks ago and I'm hooked! I've been bass fishing at least 12 yrs and I still expect to catch a hawg every cast. It doesn't happen often but I still expect to. When a bass gets off, I try not to be upset (I said try) : unless it's in a tourney (that's different) >. There's always the next cast. I wish you a great trip and lots of fish. Read EVERYTHING on this site you can. You can NEVER learn it all. deb
  14. Nice fish Dan, sure looks pretty down there! I've been off the lake a few days, motor was sick. She's back up and going now (I hope). I'll probably get to give her a run in the morning! Cool off and plan your next attack deb PS I never could get the other pics to come thru. I should try using a hammer to CLICK on the pics the next time it happens
  15. Package shipping out in the morning. Hope it's helpful. deb
  16. Thanks guys! Yeah, this place is dangerous, helping me catch bass. Who'd have ever thought??? : About the shirt, It was solid white when I put it on...The more bass I caught, the more colorful it became. Hope it doesn't wash out Glad the bass don't read this site :)
  17. Bet that was fun! What, no pics :-/. Congrats on a GOOD fish!
  18. Hey Muddy, the first few yrs I bass fished tourneys, I used BPS Mega Cast combos. One spring (about 7yrs ago) I bought 5. I has already been using them for 2 or 3 yrs and was getting more serious about fishing. My reasoning was,if I broke or loose them, I haven't got alot invested. More importantly, they were reliable. I used the 5 that year (heavily). 4 of them survived more 4yrs. One of the best investment's I've ever made. The cost $39.99 per combo. I used two of the rods today fishing a tournament. They look a little rough (don't we all with age and abuse) ;)but are still bringing in the fish! deb
  19. After finishing 2nd in 3 local ladies tourneys this year, this morning was finally mine! 1st place and big bass ( not very big but big enough). The bite on Ky Lake was much tougher than yesterday but it worked out. (Thanks Bud) I caught fish on GY Creature, t-rigged and a c-rigged pumpkin fire lizard. Here's a couple of pics. Me with a couple of my fish.............. The line up........ We're a bunch of wimps, we started fishing at 5:50 and came it at 10. Too hot and NO air movement! It was a good morning. I ended up catching 8. Wish more ladies would come out and have fun with us!
  20. Bud, if you see a teal and white bass boat with some crazy chick at the wheel following you around IT'S NOT ME
  21. Welcome! Congrats to your son, that's a beautiful fish!!! I've only been a member a few months and I too have learned a vast amount (some good, some just hilarious) Anyway, again, welcome and I'm glad you finally have time to fish. deb

  24. I picked up a couple of bumper stickers today. Hopefully will have a few more to add in the next couple of days. I'll send ASAP but would like to give it a little time.
