For me its about time to start on some reel maintenance, and was going to just put my fish finder battery in a dry bag this season, but I decided to put together a battery box, ordered some parts just need to order the rest and decide which box I'm going to use.

Was discussing this the other day with some friends. Last few winters have been alot of wind. Been trying to get out (just on the banks) to get a few casts in but just has not been worth it with all the wind.

Yeah that’s a bad night . Seems like a few of us got a surprise last night.

I was about to log in and my neighbor calls me.. She says I have water in the corner of my basement . Her hot water heater let out.... never seen that before...so guess what I got to do for the next 4 hours..... sorry I missed it... wasn’t the plan lol.

One of my latest Rods came from the Georgia location.. TW was about to send a replacement rod, but it finally showed up. Shipping is way hit or miss anymore.

After looking around picked up a Scumacher 3amp ,, probably going to grab a Battery Tender Plus 1.25 amp as well.

Wanted to get out and just play around.. 25mph gusts all week have not helped. Just plain windy all week. Was stoked to get new battery for fish finder... sent wrong battery.. I can’t win lol

And I want to upgrade this year.. see if that happens, cause I ain't paying inflated pricing. Between that and a boat I may be waiting a year... sure hope not

Well with a few new rods and reels inbound and here I can’t wait til spring to throw some lures .. hopefully in next week if weather cooperates I’ll get head out to get skunked but play around a little.

Resolutions? Well for me 2021 is off to a bang, my doctor actually just contacted me today news year day to tell me my second round of blood work was in and I’m Pre-Diabetic and need additional liver tests done. Yay 2021.
